I dunno about you guys, but I'm not seeing Dikembe here. Not one bit.

More like former boxing champion, Frank Bruno.....

Not gonna lie. That's pretty bad. This, after just posting in another thread how good the player models look. LOL. Damn Mutombo!

He looks exactly like Frank Bruno.
He was good last gen though.
Interestingly enough, classic players were much better represented last gen. Shouldn't it be right the opposite?

            I just DON'T get it.

How could they look SUPERIOR last gen, but worse, this generation? It makes no sense. The tech is vastly greater. You'd think the art team would have better equipment to provide more accurate representations, yet it's gone down hill every year since we Migrated to the XBONE & PS4.

The only conclusion to draw is that the legends are at the back end of the priority list. Perhaps there's simply not enough allocated time and money to invest into them after they've rolled all their cash into mycareer and the online modes, which really, is unfair to be honest, as 2k should be catering for all needs, not just online.

Sorry, but that model looks nothing like Dikembe.

As we've spoke of before, 2k should hire pc cyberface modders to come in and do the job for the legends.

I think we need to recognize that this is still a business and that some things we wont we may not get because there has to be a return on investment. We just have to make do with what we have and hope for more.

For instance, I have listened to Leftos on many podcasts. I know how hardcore he is about MyLeague stuff. If it were up to him it would be as deep as most of us dream. But seeing as there is little ROI on the NBDL we/they have to come up with other ways to even make it happen when it would be perfectly justifiable to just not touch it at all. That's what most companies would do. Understanding that reality I'm not upset about it not being in this. Hopefully, they're able to work something out to at least simulate it. That's all I can hope for. But I appreciate the shedding of light on it.

What do you figure the ROI is on legends outside of Jordan since 2k11 and 2k12 during a lockout? Mutombo, Nash? I get your frustrations as I have my own but at least there are still teams there and we can sorta fill in the gaps with CAPs. That's better than nothing. Devs visit this board I'm sure they're aware of these things.

I hear you, and would imagine this is the case.

2k cater for the biggest target audience, and for them, it's the online, fantasy modes that bring them the money with all that VC stuff - as I mentioned, I think those of us who are angered by this know that this aspect of the game is a low priority for 2k, problem is, it won't stop us from being frustrated at the lack of focus being given to everything outside of the big hitting game modes.

I'm still looking for that little bit of glimmer that's gonna make me pick up this game at the end of the week, but sadly, it just seems all the things I personally liked about the game appear to be gradually phasing out.

I should really just shut the hell up and make the permanent move to the PC with the Ultimate Base Roster. It's an old school haven with accurate courts, jerseys and cyberfaces - would never have to worry about missing players, caps or teams being taken out again.

I feel you man. Online is where it's at now. And every little thing has to pass through a cost/benefit analysis. PC might be a good option too as they always make a breakthrough given enough time.

If history is anything to go by than we will have to wait until the next lockout for 2k to go the legend teams route.

The white vertical stripe on the shorts is still way, way too wide though.

Are the Screenshots featured in this video real? Because if the 2013 Heat have the 25th season patch on their jerseys than that's fantastic. It makes me wonder if they altered LeBron's player model at all from 2k16 for the 2013 Heat.

Also maybe my eyes are deceiving me, buy the 2006 Heat Dwyane Wade player model looks different than it did in 2k16.
