    Jumping in with two questions:
    1. The NBA Live Facescan in the app actually works REALLY well, and doesn't require you to turn your gaming room into a photography studio to get something slightly resembling your face or without 2 sets of eyes and other mutant features. Has 2k announced anything similar or face scan improvements?

    2. More importantly: can you make trades during the offseason in myGM? R

Re: What's The First Thing You're Going To Do?

Take a look at the rosters especially the classic teams to see who all is missing from those teams, hopefully not as many as in years past, but Im not to hopeful on that. If there isn't a bunch of players missing I will probably play a classic game, probably Russells Celtics vs West Lakers. If there is a lot of players missing on the classic teams, then I will probably play some games with the Euro teams, as I actually enjoy using them, which is funny as I thought when they put them in it was a waste if space but they are fun to use while learning the new controls and waiting for the NBA season to start and have updated rosters to start a My League.

Ill probably also write down all the players missing on classic teams and either attempt to make those players or find them in 2kshare, to put on the right teams.

          Same thing as every year.

          Install day one patch.

Then, sift through classic rosters followed by updating game settings and then playing 3-5 quick matches.

Re: What's The First Thing You're Going To Do?

            1. Play a few games with the Pacers to get a feel for the team

            2. Maybe some practice mode to get the new controls and find some good plays

            3. MyCareer

Does anyone know if there will be a roster update shortly after launch to fix a few players positions and things? (Monroe, George, Duncan, J. Parker)

            4. MyGM will start once the Pacers new offense has been updated into the game.

I should have clarified that "they" is referring to PS4 and X1. It's partly their problem, though. 64 gbs is a lot and certainly contributes to the install time.

And why is this not a problem not worth complaining about? It's a total buzzkill picking up the game and then having to wait an hour plus to play.

Then I'll start MyGM, take over a team, dismantle them to save money, move them to either Seattle, Vancouver or Louisville, and rebuild. Feels like cheating to start with a team that's already good (like my Rockets).

Then I'll do MyCareer and make the greatest rebounder in NBA history--and MAKE people respect the underhand free throw.
I like the idea of buying a team in MyGM. Have you done this before? What exactly do you get for doing that, or difference does it make? I'm also curious if you could do this offline using Skill Points instead of VC? How long does it take?

lol sorry for so many questions...just curious if you have any of those answers. I couldn't find much on it when i tried searching.

Going to open the MyTeam packs I get for ordering the Jordan edition. Go into practice and get used to the new controls. After that I'm going to jump into either a MyGM or MyLeague.

Re: What's The First Thing You're Going To Do?

First I'm going to go through everything to see for myself what in the game and what's not then play a quick game just to get a feel for the gameplay. I don't routinely start My Career/My GM/My League until after the NBA season has started so I have as accurate a roster as I can to start.

Buying a team costs 50,000 VC, no matter what the team is.

I have it pre-ordered, so I get 15,000 VC as a head start.

When you own the team outright, basically all that means is that you no longer have to deal with a pushy owner's goals--and can't get fired. Now you can do whatever you want with the team, and you don't have to answer to anyone.

Though I've heard you can be forced to sell the team if you fail hard enough and get far enough into the red, but I haven't actually seen that happen to anyone. Meaning you likely have to TRY to fail to make that happen. (Can anyone confirm this?)

Oh, and yes, you can purchase the team at the very start of the mode, if you have the VC on hand. There should be an option in the MyGM menu labeled "Purchase Team."

This is probably the only thing I endorse buying VC with real money for, if you have it. It takes quite a while otherwise.

BUT, if you don't spend VC on anything, you'll have enough to buy the team after 58 games.

First thing I'm doing right when I get home Thursday night is hop into some quick games to get a feel for the new controls. Gonna make sure the settings are on superstar or hall of fame level simulation.

Then after, maybe 2-3 games go through the rosters and edit attributes, attire, and shoes for almost everyone on each team.

Then finally, get into my first My League either with the 76ers or Knicks and start rebuilding the franchise to compete for a championship.

                            ...Haven't been this excited for a 2k since 2k11... I can't wait!!

I work from 1:30pm-10:30pm on Friday night, so here is a list of things I will be doing:

                                1) Come home for lunch break at 630pm, immediately open the Amazon pkg at my door and rush to my PS4.

                                2) Begin installation of the game/patches and head back to work for 4 hours.

                                3) Watch gameplay videos/read impressions on here until 10:30pm, when I leave OS for a few weeks to let the dust settle and hide the "game breaking bugs" from me that I've never noticed before.

                                4) Rush home, crack a beer and fire up the game by 11pm and begin my 6 day vacation that I took just to play 2k even though I'm in my 30s.
