Re: What's The First Thing You're Going To Do?
I Think the first thing ill do is check out My Team And open my packs, Then i might Create a early 2000 Roster All 30 Teams Maybe i can get the old courts Jerseys. Im not sure how the editing is yet.
I want to Create a older Roster for the GM Mode and while im doing that all the patches/Bugs will be done for the Career mode and ill jump into that.Comment

Re: What's The First Thing You're Going To Do?
I want to scan myself into the game and start mycareer, but seeing that they haven't let out any information it'll probably be a mess again (the scan) forcing me to sculpt my own myplayer
nevertheless, point guard coming through!Comment

Do what I do every year since about 2007. Take the Mavs into shoot around mode to check out the sig jumpers. Then work my through the other teams.Comment

Re: What's The First Thing You're Going To Do?
First thing I'm doing is MyLeague -- gonna see what the default settings do with almost total non-input from me at all. Will the CPU make crazy trades? Will the injuries be properly tuned? How is progression/regression? What does relocating a franchise look like?
Gonna do a quick sim of virtual seasons, take notes on what the trends appear to be with the default sliders (which, according to Leftos, are set to be what is most realistic according to the dev team), and see how it all looks after five seasons. My prediction is that the progression/regression and injury sliders will have to be dropped down by at least 10 (so, 40 instead of 50 on the scale) -- I think the progression/regressions sliders will require the most tuning (I've always found 2K to predict the end of certain players much sooner than IRL; pretty sure KG and Timmy Duncan would be a 65 at this point in 2K13, yet the two are still very capable IRL).
I'm also going to be on the lookout for a decent draft class (and will be paying attention to the 2K auto-generated classes, which have been jokes in previous years) or I might make my own (marking a first for sure). Whatever the case is, I will be preparing to start up my massive, long-term MyLeague by the end of the weekend -- gonna try to go the full 80 virtual seasons (never before have I attempted to play a franchise mode to its bitter end) and watch the NBA change.Comment

Re: What's The First Thing You're Going To Do?
Three things that I'll check out come this Friday:
(1) Player responsiveness - no more stuck in animations, freedom of movement. (http://www.operationsports.com/forum...addressed.html)
(2) Presentation - check out their pre-game, halftime, and post game show (This was one of my most wanted wishlist items. Team NBA2k made it happen. I will relish in all it's glory.)
(3) Exhibition match - multiple exhibition to get a feel for the game. I may do multiple exhibitions for several weeks straight to get a handle on the controls, play calling, defense.Comment

Re: What's The First Thing You're Going To Do?
Practice...2K changes the controls every year.
Mainly going to be practicing the post game and getting used to the ''new'' passing controls.
After that I will be playing mycareer, the only mode that interest me every year.Comment
