Can you change players potential? I only find where you can choose his peak beginning and ending, but not how high it will be.

Re: NBA 2k16 MyLeague: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

how is the regression and progression on myleague and mygm??? particularly mygm since this is my most played mode..

mygm mode progression rate seems ok for me during 2k15 as long as you dont use the attribute improvement badges... ive gotten randle to 90 rating in 3 years and vonleh to 4 years and key cores to my new age lakers dynasty rebuild..

but regression was annoying as some star players started regressing after season1.. curry, d-rose, love lost some overall pts after entering the dreaded age 27.. while lebron and melo didnt regress alot after season, and i noticed lebron lasted till the current season 4 im playing still 90+..

i was far enough on my mygm save that the regression rate patch came abit late that restarting and abandoning my current save was not an option...

so regression and progression on both myleague and particularly mygm much improved and better than 2k15????

Yeah, just head to the attributes screen in the edit player section, then left trigger back once -- Potential is located under the "Attributes MISC" tab.

(Could be a placebo effect and just random occurrences). But I did notice we don't have the ability to extend a current coaches contract, is it possible for this to be added in a patch at all?
The control option isn't displayed, but you can delay retirement of coaching staff ('X' on an XBox controller). You can probably get around the contract extension thing for the time being by firing->re-hiring

Re: NBA 2k16 MyLeague: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

The only issues Ive seen after my admittedly small amount of play time is like someone else said, contracts are way too low. Im not in the off season yet as I supersim all my games but the players resigning during the season are super cheap...for example, I resigned Batum and he only asked for like 4.5mil a year....I gave him like 7 to make it at least a little better but IRL he will be making at LEAST 10 and probably closer to 20 if he picks up his game and with the new salary cap.

Also the trade logic is still pretty iffy. It isnt a HUGE deal becase I can control the CPU trades and just try not to fleece the CPU myself, but I did some trade finders and the Jazz offered me Gobert for Marvin Williams and a 2017 2nd rounder...they also offered Gobert and Favors for Al Jefferson and Williams. I get they are "selling" but I doubt they move a young piece like Gobert for nothing.

            Overall though, loving it

Excellent point LorenzoDC! Davez thank you for your work on this game!

Practice mode within MyLeague would add to immersion. In years past (College Hoops 2K) I've often wound down a real day practicing plays in the half-court while sipping a beer. I would run the play correctly hitting the first option; then I'd run second or third options as the defense AI adjusted; then I'd run the play a number of "wrong" ways to see how to make it work anyway. I really gained understanding of the play doing this. There was no pressure, no agenda other than learning a play and getting to know my players, especially newly recruited players within the game.

A step further: Repetitions are important in most anything. It would be great to have a post drill within practice as well. On the Xbox 360, NBA 2K had a post drill with a change of possession on a score or defensive stop; instead, most coaches keep the learning player on offense until he knows the move. And, learning post defense and post-entry passing works similarly.

One on one would be a great way to really get to know a newly drafted player. Two on two on up to four on four are good tools as well because dynamics are slightly different from the five-man game. At the least though, one on one and two on two without possession change are needed.

All of the above would give more meaning to full-court scrimmages: At the moment MyLeague scrimmages feel more like open-gym at the rec center than an actual team practice. It would be great if the scrimmage had referees and fouls and everything that a League game has except for the crowd.

Again, good observation LorenzoDC; and Davez thanks for a good simulation.

You don't necessarily get to customize the Wizards' current court. You get to create a court which will take the place of their current one. Hope that answers your question.

So I looked through each franchise's "Status". For the most part they're spot on, but I found a few exceptions:

Raptors - Rebuilding. I figured they'd be a "Buying" team, they've got a pretty good young core and just "bought" Demarre Carroll this summer.

Wizards - Rebuilding. I feel like they're a buying team as well with the moves the organization goes for each summer, trading for Nene and Gortat, signing Pierce. Also considering their plans to buy Durant next summer.

Rockets - Buying. I'd consider them a contender but I also understand why some would look at them as buyers with the way they tried to get Bosh and recently acquired Lawson.

Thunder - Buying. I think they did the most buying they've done last season. They're pretty much always contenders with Durant, Westbrook and Ibaka.

Warriors - Buying. This was hands down the most egregious! The defending champs, returning their entire core, are buyers?? haha

I also noticed Coach's contract lengths are off:
                    - Brad Stevens has a 1 year deal, in reality he has 4 years remaining on his deal.
                    - Steve Clifford has a 2 year deal, in reality this is the sole remaining year left on his deal.
                    - Fred Hoiberg has a 2 year deal, it should be the 5 year deal that he signed this summer.
                    - Blatt has a 1 year deal, should be 3 remaining years.
                    - Mike Malone has a 1 year deal, he signed a 4 year deal this summer.
                    - Stan Van Gundy has a 2 year deal, should be 4.
                    - Kerr has a 2 year deal, should be 4.
                    - Kevin Mchale has a 2 year deal, should be 3.
                    - Frank Vogel has a 1 year deal, all I know is he signed a multi-year extension.
                    - Doc Rivers has a 1 year deal, should be 4-5.
                    - Dave Joerger, should be 3.
                    - Spoelstra should be longer than 1 year.
                    - Alving Gentry has a 1 year deal, he just signed for 4 years this summer.
                    - Fisher has a 4 year deal.
                    - Billy Donovan has a 2 year deal, he just signed a 5 year deal this summer.
                    - Popovich has a 1 year deal, should be 4.

There are more but here's a link to a reference website: http://www.otherleague.com/contracts...acts-salaries/

What are everyone's thoughts on rookie potential values? With the default rosters, you've got towns at 89, Russell and okafor at 88, Porzingis at 82, mudiay and Stanley Johnson at 86, Winslow at 84, etc etc.

Considering Wiggins and jabari Parker are only 86 and 84 (I think) then the current rookie batch is a tad high. Looking at the analysis on the first page, it looks like by 2020 okafor and towns are the best centres in the NBA, top 2, at the age of 24. Better than cousins in his prime. Are these two Kareem or wilt or something?

I'm think of kind of reducing these rookie potentials across the board. Make a comparison of the top picks last year and adjust accordingly. Has anyone played with rookie potentials or have a suggestion?

Guys, i have uploaded a lot of Logo from the 70s teams like New Orleans Jazz, San Diego Rockets, Buffalo Braves, Kansas City Kings, etc...

Do you know how many teams we can edit in MyLeague mode while controlling them all?

I mean, after my Completed Classic Team Project, im already thinking about a 77-78 or 76-77 roster. If i made the roster, and then i use my custom 76-77 roster for MyLeague, and i relocate lets say the Utah Jazz in New Orleans and made the jersey and everything else, how many teams i can edit if i control them all? Yesterday i try, but looks like i can EDIT or Relocate just ONE team, even if i control them all? Is this right?
Its a shame if its like this, because i was already dreaming about a 70s roster with all the OLD logo, the Braves, The Kansas City Kings...etc...
Well in the WORST scenario, i can still play the 70s roster and EDIT the logo just for the team im using, lets say for example Pistol Pete's New Orleans Jazz.
Please someone can help me on this?

Will there be any fix to the stats in MYLeague? All stats are way too high when simming 12 minute quarters. Especially rebounds and assist per game for each team are crazy. Ten teams with 50+ rebounds, no team with less than ~23 assist (most Teams above 24,5). Points per game are also way too high in 12 min quarters. 25 teams average 100+ points. Lowest oppg are 99,7. It seems that every player is having a career year in all stats.

This game is so much fun, but i want realistic stats in the offline modes. Please fix this 2K!

Just need a quick and good understanding of the relocation/re-branding.Are we able to relocate no more than 3 teams, and also re-brand no more than 3 teams as well. For a total of 6 teams or just 3 teams total regardless of which is chosen. Also, when a new court is created in the same city , will this fall under re-branding or relocation. thanks in advance
