I saw something about no tattoo customization in CAP. Does that mean generated rookies will still have the interesting tattoo schemes that cannot be edited?

Re: NBA 2k16 MyLeague: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Hey Dave, thanks for answering questions and suggestions man. Since you are talking about technical implementation I want to point a couple of things on shoes:

Home and away shoes feature is cool for offline rosters, but not really useful for roster editors since created shoes don't upload with the rest of the roster. It would be a good idea trying to add somehow this feature, bc now all the customization possible is just select the model.

That new option called 'colorway' isn't helpful either since just a couple of models (not worn in real life) improve the possible options for the shoe model. A good idea would be adding a bunch of 2k presets in different colorways worn by real NBA players for each shoe model. This would help us to get some customization varieties.

Finally, just wanted to point that all the new features are great ideas, but just need some work to get to the goal, that should be give us the possibility to configure every player shoes as like the ones they wear in real life. One option could be doing something like change the function of that 'colorways' option, and let us edit every layer of the selected shoe as if we were in the shoe editor. I know this may imply technical issues, but it has to be some workaround to get something like this!

And finally a heads up: there's a bug in some shoe models like Lebron 12 and Hyperdunk 2015. Those shoes can't be assigned to any players because don't appear in the shoe selection menu.

Turned salary cap off on my fantasy MyLeague and got some crazy contracts. I thought it was pretty cool. Lebron signed a 3 year 1 billion dollar contract.

I'm a little confused when going into coach game plan. With the positions on top are they all supposed to be in the green?

Re: NBA 2k16 MyLeague: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

                Hey dave...just a quick question.

Could we please have a create-a-team mode implemented by nba 2k17? It's crazy to think we have it at our disposal in my league/gm but as a separate stand alone feature to go along with create-a-player it remains absent. I'm assuming this is too difficult to patch in, so that seems unrealistic, but Was there any plan to include this in 2k16 or were you just focusing on making sure that the relocation feature and rebranding etc functioned accordingly well?

also how about adding goggles or face masks to the game for player creation?

or uploading arenas and stadiums in 2k share so we can easily import them to our myleague/gm's?

which is easiest to do of the above mentioned?

and could you please let the devs consider/try to work on an expansion mode to myleague/gm? or to even fold teams or decrease the 30 team league? and have at least one city available in every US state to relocate to? New Mexico for example.

I hope this doesn't sound like i'm dissatisfied and am demanding something be done to further this mode, but these features have always been on my mind and now that we finally have relocation in, we can hopefully take it a step further.

I'm just really proud of what you guys have accomplished this year and am really inspired by the work you've put forth.

Re: NBA 2k16 MyLeague: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Some observations in my brief experimentation with MyLeague:

-Salary cap inflation slider appears to be broken. Will jump from 70m to 90m in the first year and then back to small increments in every subsequent year (ran it through about 5 seasons). Changing the inflation slider does not seem to affect this (tried 0-50-100).

-Adding onto that, it seems you can't change the inflation rate in between seasons after the franchise has started. That seems like it will be an issue if everything is working correctly, since the next two years are expected to be unprecedented jumps (70m in 2015-2016, 90m in 2016-2017 and 108m in 2017-2018), then relatively flat in the subsequent years (hovering around the 100-110m range).

-Mass retirement of coaches in the first few years who really shouldn't be retiring, among them new recruits like Alvin Gentry in NO. Not sure what the determining factor for staff retirement is, but it seems to be broken. Also appears that you can't override their retirements like you can with players.

The first year jump is predetermined based on the predictions for the 2016-17 season. The next years implement a smaller inflation rate that's randomized around an average that can be manipulated using the inflation rate slider. Once every decade there's a new TV deal that will bring a big boom to the salary cap, but most years you'll see smaller increments.

So I wouldn't say it's broken. It doesn't control the frequency of TV deals, but it does control the relative percentage the salary cap goes up, with 50 being what we consider an optimal growth. You can slow it by putting it at 0, or accelerate it by putting at 100. But you're still going to get the TV deal years, and you're still going to get the hardcoded jump of the first offseason.

Found a bit of a bug in the Generated Draft Classes which will probably save draft class makers a lot of time.

Seems if you edit a players tendency and click accept changes and return, the value of which you changed it too does not save.

For Example, when I changed a generated rookie Shot Mid-Range Left tendency from 56 to the position average of 3, and clicked accept changes and return, then check the value of that tendency (which should be 3 of course) it is now listed at 24...

At this point of time, i'd say don't waste your time editing draft classes just yet, and maybe hold off on starting MyLeagues just yet!... just a friendly heads up!

Here is a video of what I mean
                        <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/pLMIbJTrZW0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Ok, poor quality video, but the best i can do at this point of time!

So as you can see at the 40 second mark the Cam Johnstone has a Shot Close Left tendency of 33, at 1:45 you can that i have moved the value to 7 and continue to click accept and return, but when i check the value again at 2:10 we can see that the tendency has been changed to a 67.

Once again sorry for poor quality video!

Correction, apparently you can override coaching staff retirements with 'X'. It's not shown on the control guide at the bottom of the screen, but should work nonetheless. Another workaround might be to fire the coach and re-sign them to a longer contract. Managed to get Pop to stay on for more than a year or two this way.

Loving My League so far. I'm planning to relocate my team and tried to create new uniforms. But, when I try to save, I keep getting an error message "Unable to save the uniform. please try again." Anyone know why this is happening?
