Re: Official 2K16 MyCareer Badges thread

I do and it makes a great difference. Closer is also very good in pro am as well that 4th quarter comes you'll be playing better offensively & defensively.

In other news, I'm going for offensive crasher & hustle points right now which will help me in proam too. I am playing on All Star difficulty casual sliders. My cpu teammates have their fair share of misses giving me a chance to off rebound. Whereas on lower difficulties they make a lot of shots. Just some advice for anyone trying to go for these 2 badges.

This is boggling my mind, I am in my third seasons on my point guard and I cannot get Pick N Roll Maestro. Hell, dimer is the second badge I picked up in my first season (shot creator was my first).

From 2k13 to 2k15 I always primary played a point guard, but with the freelance optiions this years I decided to wanted to try out a SF/PF (SF being primary of course).

Also, is there a required defensive skill to unlock pick dodger?

Pick n roll maestro is easy. Just keep calling picks (100 times)

Pick Dodger I think u need on ball and pick n roll iq to be at 80 and play at least 20 games

Can anyone please confirm if you've gotten post hook specialist as a PG?

EDIT: For those who are wandering about post hook specialist, I just got it as a PG. It is 100 MADE hook shots and not attempts. No wonder it took so long considering my inside scoring column is at ZERO lol. So looks like all positions can obtain it. It seems ppl got post hook specialist with less MADE shots across other positions though. That's 62 badges and counting! Still grinding for offensive crasher & hustle points and eraser is going to unlock next game for me.

How about Floor General? Got my playmaker up to 20 and played enough games but still dont have it. Saw that in 2k15 you needed at least 5APG in your career and Im below that. Does simming games count toward the career stat?

Don't ever sim games when yr going for badges. I don't believe sim games count toward obtaining floor general because u have to play. Simming screws up things IMO.

Contact dunk counts, fancy dunks (on their own) don't. I only made 2 contact dunks to get posterizer. What I did get a lot of, is the accolade notices that I'd dunked on players over 7ft/with high block ratings/posterize someone who'd posterized you etc.

What I need to do to get hustle points and offensive crasher with my point gaurd, it seems like offensive rebounds just go straight through my hands?

U need around 80 OffR in a season. Do you get any? Rarely get 1 per game with my SG

Really struggling to get them, averaging under 1 off rebound a game, but if I try harder could probably get higher. Can get defensive rebounds quite easy

Don't play on rookie or pro when trying to get offensive rebounds cuz yr teammates will hit everything (from experience). Play on All Star casual and I feel you'll find more success where it won't be too difficult that you'll get boxed out or won't be able to get 2nd chance points. Since I began my grind I have been getting 5+ off rebounds and I'm 6'3 PG while getting some second chance points too. Usually late in shot clock get to your teammate and get in good position and box out your man. I always attempt to go right back up for the 2nd chance points even if it's not a good shot lol. I have about 60 off rebounds through 28 games so far..not sure about 2nd chance points, but I'm sure I'll get both badges just after all star break the latest.

EDIT: Just finished a game where I grabbed 11 offensive rebounds as a 6'3 PG lol.

Need about 50 second chance buckets (second chance points on screen 50 times) for hustle points and 150 offensive rebounds for offensive crasher. Hustle points is very doable took me about 20 something games to get it I can confirm I have 51 total offensive rebounds with 50 of those rebounds resulting in second chance points score. Offensive crasher on the other hand, even exploiting the out of bounds tactic is a very daunting task because your not only competing with your opposing guard for the rebound but all of the other pf's and C's on the court.

For offensive rebounds if ur player is a guard it's really tough to get many offensive ones since the player rarely stud in the paint. However I'm thinking if there is a change in the offensive play of the team, there might be more chances to get offensive rebounds. Is there a
                                Way to change offensive tactic?
