I discovered a pretty sure fire way to get offensive rebounds, but it makes the game a bit of a ballache to play.

1) Make sure you turn off all plays etc.

2) let your team mates do what your team mates do - hold the ball without moving it, run down the shot clock, then take a horrible last second shot.

3) when it gets to about 7-9 seconds left (I did this on HOF sim with my center), then run towards half court and go round the ball handler and back into the paint so you arrive with about 3 seconds left on the shot clock.

4) Whomever is guarding you will automatically follow you

5) Use left trigger to box out so the cpu will be unable to get past you. You will now be in prime position to collect the offensive rebound.

Thanks for strategy, I'm PF without great rebounding and height and struggle to get off rebs especially if opposition have got good rebounding front court. Hope I'll be able to get some more with your method

Having troubles getting Microwave
I know I had at least several consecutive games with double red rings, especially since I have Swagger badge.

That's strange man. I got the badge after 5 games exactly in my 2nd season. Someone else earlier in the thread said they had the same problem too. Are you asking out of your game at all?

I play the whole game
I played 1st 16 games of my 4th season, I know in at 13-14 games I had double red rings

So u had double rings for 13-14 games straight? Or just in that amount of games you've obtained double rings at least once?

At least once. So there were at least once where I had at least 5 straight with double rings

Here is another effective method on how to get off rebounds. Make sure you use "4 out 1 in" from your plays menu and for motion cuts use "space the floor" Call a quick post up from your quick plays menu pad left and RS down. Doing all this allows a clear out so he can go to work in the post and as soon as post player gets it, just time when he's about to shoot, and run around your man and into the paint cuz he is most likely going to shoot a wild forced shot. This hopefully will result in a miss with no one else down there to rebound since it was an iso in the post.

EDIT: This method is essentially even better if you're player is very fast so that you'll beat him to the spot 90% of the time. You don't ALWAYS have to box out either especially if you're man is much shorter than you or unathletic then just jump and get it, bring it back out, call the same play and repeat the process again. I just got 5 offensive rebounds out of 8 possessions in the 1st quarter!

I'm a 99 Balanced SG

I'm in my 7th season and average 5.0 APG as a career average with Playmaker discipline on 18 but still I lack this badge

Who has floor general and can confirm the process to getting this personality badge

I got it 2nd season after about 20+ games. 6'3 Balanced PG. Well over 5 apg and have 19 playmaking bars.

Just so happens I finally got this badge!

At the end of my playoffs in which we won the finals: I was awarded the badge at the conclusion of the final game.

Something weird of me not getting microwave badge on my PF. With my first player (sf) i got it as soon as i've got some upgrades and started to play well for few games.

With PF i got all initial upgrades right after creation started to dominate nba since game1 on 2nd season, I've played about 30 games with about 50 ppg and dont recall a game where I didn't get hot. I even got unfazed badge without getting it, hows that ?

Just got perimeter lockdown defender without doing anything extreme just after a game.... lol
Ps got it one game before the end of the season however my defense was already 16...

It's a discipline badge, you unlock it at 16 then play a few games.
