If you hold the button it means you're trying to shoot. If you do something quickly it usually means isomotion. Which is why it requires impeccable timing to pump fake using the Pro-Stick.

It's highly annoying and nothing else in the game (passing, left stick) has this problem.

This has nothing to do with online, but playing online can compound the lag with its own lag and make it a lot worse.
I know, it's an extreme example.

But once you understand what it is, then looking for it is very easy. I play NBA 2K15 and 16 at 120FPS VSync off, and the input is extremely responsive. But with 60FPS VSync on, it's a completely different game and everything feels much more sluggish.

I will say it depends on the online game... Some are much better than others... Which is great news.. Last year every game had quite a bit of lag.. But this year many games don't have any noticeable lag.

Slight offline input lag.. But it's much better than last year

This thread regards Input lag/delay, not server crashes/stability.

This is a 24/7 delay that hinders the experience largely on a game based largely on reaction time.

How COD can have like 30,000 online gamers at the same time with almost zero lag???

i'm not buying another NBA2k until this problem has been fixed, I don't care how good the game looks I need control.

Input lag is not a 2K issue...Is your display issue...

So 90% of people with consoles have display issues?

I've never had no input delay online with multiple different location and multiple different connections.

Just saying don't act like it doesn't exist for many people. Not this many people would make up something such as input delay.

It's okay if you don't have any due to your miracle location zone, but don't act like no one else has it.

The people who complained about it last year (including me) who are seeing a significant improvement wouldn't make it up either. It's not a miracle, and it's not because we like the number 16 instead of 15...we can only speak one what we're experiencing...

I personally didn't say no one is experiencing it...I never would since online experiences can have a wide range based on different factors...

I also think some guys interpretation of "input lag" is off ....but it's whatever....all I can do is keep enjoying myself and hope it lasts ...

It also doesn't help that the console versions force vertical sync (would be cool if they had an option to disable that by choice) which also adds input lag.

That said, I have noticed this year to be better than the past couple years.
So what's your suggestion? Get a 'monitor' TV instead? Rear projection screen?
