I'm with 24, some of ya'll overexaggerate the **** of stuff in the game. Hyperbole reigns supreme around these parts lol.

It is kind of sad that folks are offereing tips/temporary solutions to curb it, yet people are basically like "Man, I don't care about your advice, it doesn't work and no I haven't tried it out because I know it won't work" for no reason.

Me personally, I already except that there will never be a game that doesn't have any warping/sliding of any kind, especially in a Basketball game(unless I go to my gym right now)but if I can find a way to minimize it from happening often, I'll definitely listen/look for solutions.

      .

I'll put Robin Lopez on Kemba Walker in the game and show you the results....just like I have with any of the other examples

He probably doesnt. Lopez gives him room to encourage the jumper.

If big guys get switched on to you in 2K16 and they step up, I find simple moves moves work best. Hell Ive even done straight line drives towards their hip that has triggered the hip riding animation and gone straight past.

But there is some stickiness on a few occasions.

There is definitely something wrong with it, but I don't think it's a bad thing.

I do think defenders are broken down 1 on 1 more than this game gives, but that's fine with me. I lowered on ball defense a bit and even if I can't get past the CPU as much as I think is realistic, it really forces you to play Spurs/Hawks/Warriors basketball. Ball movement and screens. Love it.

It's the same thing i wanted to explain in one of the other threads but well we're where we are one video of slow mo nitpicking, an instance that occurs 1 out of 10 can only be THIS MUCH exagerated. This is poison given to cheesers to make them justify about smt that is really really not much of a big deal and also mind the fact that that instance was happening a lot more in the previous iterations!
Just please guys don't exagerate.. I'm not trying to underminen it just you shouldn't exagerate this much. Come on.

Even if you look up best crossovers of last year a good major end in jumpshots not layups. Blow bys are rare. Also just because you have a big on you doesn't mean you can automatically blow by them. A lot of bigs use their length and defensive IQ to stick with faster guys. Teams don't worry if Joaquin Noah, Robin Lopez , or Tyson Chandler get stuck on a pg because those players know how to force quicker players into bad jump shots.

There's nothing wrong when you have the cpu beat and out of position but they warp into your body and animate you anyway? Okay cool

is CPU on ball D perfect? no

is it better than 2k15 and every other basketball game in existence? hell yes

if the CPU would trigger the riding hip animation SLIGHTLY a bit more the system would legit be 100% perfect. even if it isn't altered, seriously this is the most realistic depiction of defense in the NBA ever

So you are saying this will prevent the country from sliding and warping.

Point is.. If a defender is out of position they should pay for it.
Fundamentals of basketball and physics have to be respected

I watched Shaq play up on MJ a couple days ago three seperate times. MJ never got past him. Lol same thing happened yesterday to me with Steph Curry guarded by some bench PF with a D perimeter defense rating (I don't remember who. I just remember looking at the attributes). The stickiness is a huge problem.

also who is saying sliding/warping shouldn't be patched?

that's an obvious glitch and should be fixed, however it is hardly common maybe I'll see it 1 or 2 times a game if any. Most of the time if I can't get past a defender it's my fault which is how it should be

Honestly..ain't that a going over a pick? To me the defender step through and then SLIDE HOPPING to cut you off. Plus what are you trying to do with that slow dribbling..please use better angles to make dribble penetration.
