Melo is probably the EASIEST to recreate on your list. An inside scorer at 6'7 when max jumper, inside scoring, and halfway on anything else.

Name any player in the nba I'll tell you how to recreate his production, maybe not his stats.
How do I make a KD replica? I want to be a white KD, how do I do this?

Well I just happen to have the stats for these players. Now if you would, myself and others would like to know how I can recreate these players in MyCareer due to the caps?

6'10 outside scorer with a max jumper. Maybe max athlete and split your first 75 attributes between inside, play making, and defense. You may suffer a hit to your speed and athleticism and won't be able to carbon copy his exact attributes but you can get all his dribble moves and essentially be rookie KD straight out of the gate with the opportunity to grind out more attributes and improve him through your career. By your second season i can almost guarantee you'll either match his production or be close to it if you play on the right difficulty for your playing style.

Keep in mind, not even kd was kd now his rookie year.

Yea can't do that. There is a 6'9 cap on SFs...

Re: So I can't make a Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, Kevin Durant in MyCa

There are plenty of options to improve for the next MyCareer (2K17):

            - Separating MyCareer from MyPark. MyCareer should be only offline and not use VC to upgrade stats.
            - Separate the stats groups, make quickness (agility) / speed (turbo) separate from each other for example... or someone who can shot from mid range but be a bad free thrower.
            - Let us choose the playstyle but don't limit us. Just make it extra harder to cap our weakness. For example, if you have a 3pts specialist SG, to improve 3pts shooting and cap it should be cheap, let's say 40000 mycareer points. But if your 3pts specialist want to cap post moves, then this could cost 220000 mycareer points.
            - Probably it should be better to unlock the last 5 upgrades for each stats by tokens that you can get from training or certains accolades... winning the championship gets you 3 tokens for example... allstar mvp 1 token, etc.
            - To be a elite player or the best of the best should not happen until 3 or 5 seasons, not the first or second year! This will encourage to keep playing for many years ahead. To max a stat, should take you almost a year or two. I haven't seen a rookie to be the best in something
            - Basketball is a game of 2 teams so they should encourage to play as a team and not as a lone wolf. If you have a superstar in your team, let him play. The teammate grade should be improved so you can feel you are a part of a NBA team with professional players.

Re: So I can't make a Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, Kevin Durant in MyCa

I really don't have a problem with the caps at all; if you compare most of them to top players at the same position there's not much difference...

And even going off of just pure gameplay I'm able to keep up with all-star caliber players on superstar/sim with an 83 overall shooting guard.

Create your MY player based off of how YOU play 2K best. I'm an outside scorer/slasher, always have been, so a 6'7 sg who can shoot first and also have a little athleticism and handle is what I did.

Offline, no problems besides when I was rated low (duh, but I guess some people still expect to be MJ even when they're a 65 overall) and online using iq me and my squad make people look like they have no idea what basketball is on the park.

So I fail to see the problems?....Like no offense but people complaining really must be bad at this game and need to start over or just want to cheese. The game is perfectly balanced now. It makes you think about what you want to be good at, and makes you sacrifice everything else. You really got a role on the court just like 99.9% of the NBA. Not even Lebron/KD/Kobe/MJ would do every single thing for you every night in the league so idk what people expect.
I guess they wanna average a quadruple-double again and complain it's too easy.

Only thing I'd change is take away buckets and let us upgrade stats singularly. Also, have a "max" cap that for a steep price, or maybe lots of practices, we can go 5 overall over. And only let us do this a few times per player.

For instance, I wanna be faster. So my speed can potentially go from an 80 to an 85 but it'll cost a lot more and also have to do tons of practice for it.
After I do that one, I have two more singular stats I can go over the cap for, and after that I'm done.
I don't wanna be Jordan, I don't wanna be Bird or Isiah, I don't wanna be any of those guys.
I want to look in the mirror and say I did it my way.

Once again, aside from speed you can essentially replicate each player almost to the T as far as playstyle maybe not OVR or even by EXACT attributes. But if you put these player combos about to detail against each of these players in blacktop i can get you pretty darn close, and it's actually pretty easy.

Keep in mind youre starting as a ROOKIE so we'll try and make ROOKIE versions of these stars.

Young kobe is too easy. 6'6 sg, maybe play with weight a bit to see if you can't crank out a couple more speed points, but inside scorer def. About 16 or 17 into athlete, max shooter, about 16 in defense for minimum required for lockdown, high inside scorer with the sacrifice coming on play making so you still have some rounding of your game out though your first few seasons. Remember, as a rookie kobe didn't play much because they called him "showboat". Good handles, unwilling passer.

                Melo,

Definitely inside scorer again, high inside scoring, maybe 16 or 17, medium athlete, decent passing, max shooting, decent rebounding, almost nothing on defense.

                Wilkins, see kobe almost.

It's too easy to match someone's playstyle. Will you match them attribute for attribute? Maybe not but it'll be close.

Let's just get young lebron out of the way as well.

Balanced SF with max athlete, 16 on defense, decent rebounding, high inside scoring and whatever else on play making.

                Too easy.

and there's zero argument against it since we've been saying (from the beginning) that this should only apply to the single player portion of MyCareer. When you go on the park or pro-am or whatever, sure, let the caps apply. But not in my own NBA universe where I should have 100% unlimited customization
                  This, but

Why the hell do you want to make a 7'3 center that can shoot like Ray Allen?

Yao Ming is on of the most awkward playing players ever, so was Manute Bol. They could never shoot like Ray Allen, it seem physically implausible. Name a 7'3 player that could ever shoot amazingly?

                  I do not understand this.

Aren't the MyPark Cards counter productive to this whole arguement.

Also the stats that we want are Real players stats not some fantastical players.

Kobe Bryant. Dominique Wilkins, Michal Jordan, Tracy McGrady, Lebron James. Dr J, Magic Johnson. All players that were relatively fast that excelled in categories.

I want to make an MJ/Kobe Clone, great Mid Rage Game, can hit the three when open, quick off the dribble, quick up the court, some of the toughest defenders in the game.

I want this but I also would like their prime game, less dunking, more playmaking and being able to take people off the dribble.

So I chose balanced. But guess what...
Balanced doesn't even compare to the cards above.

Kobe may not have Kyrie Handle but defenders are still scared of him.

I think connecting speed and athleticism is ridiculous. The fastest guys in the NBA aren't necessarily the best Dunkers.

I think an easy fix for this is to separate your mycareer player and your park/pro am player.

In mycareer you are free to build your player as you like you can literally grind to a 99 in everything.

In park/pro am you have the attribute caps for your position they you can grind towards and everybody is under this rule, so the game stays balanced.

2nd solution. Have overall caps for each position however you can spend your points as much as you want for any attribute. Got a 7'1 Center with 99 3pt expect that you wont be able to have points for your speed and layup because you have decided to dump so many points into outside shooting and you have reached the overall cap. This option allows for more variety of players as well which in turn keeps the game balanced.

^If either of those solutions dont make y'all happy pop in 2k13 or something idk what to tell you.

But I am currently in my 3rd season and I'm a the best I can be? Does that make sense.

I don't play with friggin demigods. Like I understand MyPark is a thing for you, but I hate playing MyPark. If I do it's only during the daytime when children are at school.

I asked a dude why did he make a 7'3 guy with Kyrie handle and a killer three, and he's like because I could. I thought it would be cool.

Why the hell doesn't anyone want to a make a demiGod. It looks weird when they play, it looks so awkward it not funny.

I hate those people. Seriously. They ruin basketball, my 2nd love, for me.

Can't have it both ways. Prime kobe is balanced sg with decent shooting and slightly above average athlete. If that's not good enough for you, go completely outside scorer and only put 10 or eleven into shooting and max everything else. bam you got prime kobe. Maybe not by attributes. But you can put up numbers like he did for sure.

They said that NO ONE in the league has a 99 anything when compared to the all time nba greats. That's why you can't have 99 anything.

You're not an nba Legend by your rookie, second. Or 3rd season.
