don't worry guys - as long as you empty your wallets for 2k17, this will be solved. another ridiculous issue will take it's place, and for that we'll wait for 2k18 and the ball just keeps on rollin'.

i mean, there been no response, no mention of working on a fix - we're just pawns in 2k's money game apparently.

phlipmode - i feel you. this game patronizes you in the worst way and it does it in such an elementary way that it's beyond predictable. every few days i fire up 2k16 like "YA, FRESH START LET'S ROLL." 15 minutes into the game and it's like man, why do i come back to it.

      in the mygm/myleague modes,

I found that adjusting your training schedule to include defensive consistency, really cuts down the opponents wide open jumpers and helps improve the transition defense greatly.

Stuff like this is why I only buy the game when it drops to $30. I'm not paying a full $60 for a scripted SPORTS GAME. The comeback code needs to be taken out, or at the very least, implemented waaaay differently.

Scripted sports game are worst kind of games, when I buy Tomb Raider i know what i am getting, scripted story mode which leads Lara Croft into adventures and eventually she comes up as 'winner' among all negative characters/creatures she faced throught the game.

Here on other way i expect lots of random things, unpredictable swings or in some cases big blowouts. Engine is made so 90 % of games end up as nailbiters, one team is cold other on big streak, then winning team makes lots of mistakes, missed shots so losing team gets their chance, i mean..everything is so damn predictable from tip off and first 2 minutes.

Momentum is so cheesy and cheap that even my wife who just watches says sometimes 'why you bother, other team will win' i mean it became so obvious that is shame..in future i will rent game first to see am i playing arcade/scripted game or actual sim basketball and it was never about money but if i am targeting finest simulation then i'm not buying arcadeish stuff and end up getting disappointed. 2K can't cater to everyone, right now they would like to have casual players, kids, hardcore sim players and to please them all with one game. It's not working that way, if game is made as sim for hardcore players then it must be sim and same means for arcade games, they got their audience.

Well said my friend, well said.. I will also waits until the games do a play NBA 2k free all weekend deal to see if they change the game back so that attributes matter more.

I understand the momentum and consistency feature and how to call time out etc. to negate it. However it too powerful against human vs AI on SS level sim.

From the vid I posted above I wouldnt mind that happening if it was once every blue moon.. Even with McGee shoving the player in the back to let them tie the game with a freethrow. Problem is this is the only recording I saved out of this happening 4-5 times in close games... In the vid you notice I set my Poe to limit perimeter shots play physical and crash glass... The AI doesn't even run an inbound play .. Just pass to lower shoot a turn around contested fade away and splash

That's all legit criticising you mentioned and video just approves it.
This is my worst experience, i was too enraged to catch it on video because i closed application on ps4..but in short it was like this..

                - Me playing vs CPU/ i was Memphis, cpu was Milwaukee
                - 00:32 on shot clock i lead 92-89
                - CPU inbounds ball, Carter Williams is on top of the key, passes the ball to Monroe who is somehow alone in the paint
                - I switch to Gasol, press square for steal..ref blows the whistle
                - When i thought i was whistled for foul and 2 free throws, i was whistled for CLEAR PATH FOUL !!!!!!! (just to make clear, whole bucks play was set up, there was no sign of fastbreak or nothing, my whole squad was on defense)
                - Monroe sinks both free throws 92-91
                - Bucks inbound the ball (00:19) ball circles around perimeter, ends up at Antetokounmpo who is covered by Jeff Green..takes shot over Green, sinks 2 pointer
                - (00:02) score 92-93 I inbound the ball (no TO's left) throw a prayer with Conley, missing wide
                - Final score 92-93
                - Close application
                - Turn off PS4
                - Didn't play 3 weeks after that

I swear since i moved to next gen every 2K basketball title nerves me more & more, when i was on last gen i didn't even cursed..now on next gen i broke 2 controllers, one tv and table..i think those broken things are best proof for me how good these next gen titles are.

Only place in this game that feels organic is in ProAm

Thank God for that mode or this game would never be played by me.

Same crap happened to me but online. I'm the Lakers vs the Heat and the game is tied with less than a min left. A regular shooting foul turns into shots and the ball. I'm like wtf happened. I just felt like I was supposed to lose because of the BS already happening.

As fun as the game can be, all you have to do is play MyTeam for awhile to develop a true hatred for the game and it's flaws.

This is only because of 2K's insistence to keep these modes on a lower difficulty setting and not on Simulation.

Playing the hof cpu will make you hate the game. Hopefully one day certain animations will only trigger with certain ratings or players. Watching Kevin Love finish and block shots above the square makes me turn the game off at times. Ha

Gauntlet is All-Star Casual. Challenges range from Pro to HoF, presumably all on Default. RTTP ranges from Pro to Superstar, presumably all on Default, as well (definitely not Simulation, some of the first ones may be on Casual).

Makes sense to have the game mode where the average team is incredibly good on lower difficulty settings than PNO
