I just think 2k would go overboard, and he'd make contested 30 footers.

He does make semi-contested 30 footers IRL. But if you can't even shoot decent % on contested threes (33+% is decent) when the foot is almost on the line I don't think he's gonna shoot even 30% contested from 30 feet in-game just because of how the game is when you contest a shot.

The thing is, 2k would be coding him differently from all the other shooters in the game. So I think they would probably go overboard, especially with the way a lot of people act like Steph is a god who shoots 75% from deep.

How do you know how he would be coded? I trust 2K enough, especially with LD2K and Da_Czar on board now, to get this right.

I don't trust 2k. Even if they do get it right, they've shown that the community can pressure them to change things that shouldn't be changed, like the shooting this year. Perfect on release day, but because people weren't shooting 60% from deep they changed it.

Nothing can be perfect in any sim sports game. But they brought Da_Czar to mastermind the offensive end and he is gonna do that to close to perfection due to limited time. If you ever saw his podcast or saw him explain an offense you'll understand what I am talking about.

But 2k get pressured to change stuff, because 90% of the community watch nothing but sportscenter. Again, look at shooting this year.

I am more than fine with shooting how it is now. If you play casual game modes you should expect higher %s.

Park mode, fine. But myteam, PNO, it shouldn't be that high. Percentages on release day were perfect.

He shoots 67%, 35-52, from 29 feet to 50. So not quite a god but close. So he should definitely be bumped up

The thing that really got me in this was the

"On pace to make more threes in his last two seasons (688) then Larry Bird did in his entire 13 year career (649)

                            Not to mention -

"highest FG percentage in the paint of any guard or forward (65.4%)"

If you want every terrible narrative or misunderstanding about Curry that throws shade since 2010 with no look at objective data in the last two seasons, it's all in this thread. Or rather all by one or two certain posters.

It's like watching Zach Lowe, Kenny Smith, and Kirk Goldsberry arguing with Charles Barkley and Oscar the Grouch.
