After playing some more, Id have to say shooting is not only harder for me but also the AI, and I know its not me just being a good defender,lol. Before this patch I felt shooting was near perfect for me and the AI, but not a big deal, Ill just have to do some slider work to find the right spot for me and the AI offensively.

Lack of fouls were a issue on day1 and its even worse now with this last patch. Sadly Im not sure it can be fixed with sliders either considering I have them cranked too 100. Going to try and lower off/def awareness to see if that might make for more fouls but dont have much faith in that fixing it.

Gameplay other than what I mentioned with lack of fouls is still solid with this patch, so no complaints other than lack of fouls and really there needs to be more organic tournovers besides lowering passing slider to get more.

The issues that have been mentioned time and time again with My GM and My league along with lack of fouls and organic turnovers is where my gripe is and it seems this has been the same complaint for any hard core simulation style player for years. Every year I hope for the best and get very disappointed but end up buying the game anyway. I have to learn to not believe the hype and quit buying this game day1, so thats going to be a New Years resolution quite buying NBA2k day1, and treat it like I have een able to do with Madden for several years now. But thats not 2ks fault, its part of advertising and they all seem to struggle with the truth nowdays, its just sadly the way things work, but definitely going to try and stop buying into the whole BS each year.

yes - i noticed this as well!. it feels much more like real basketball having to earn those buckets. so far i think shooting percentages are good for both the user and ai, but i've only had a couple of games.

the game does seem more in-tune altogether. don't really care for the lighter feeling players, but it's not that big a deal i guess.

i'm having trouble with post defense - when i try to keep a guy from backing down i tend to slip off of him if i move in the wrong direction just slightly. maybe that was intentional to make post d tougher?

It looks like you get an auto blocking call if you are close to a defender and he goes back court or out of bounds. Happened about 10-12 times over a five game span for me. Looks like it happens when the animation makes them move out of bounds:

I think its just subjective by 2k.

If you body up full court and are on the side of the ballhandler then force him out of bounds IRL that's a foul.

I didn't do anything but stand there. Would that still be a foul?

No bodying up involved at all. I'm just trying to understand a little bit more because I'm am having this happen to me semi-frequently.

This has been in the game from the start. It makes sense to me because the defender can easily camp the mid-line and start a contact animation. People abused this in years past so I am glad 2K made a little concession here to keep things balanced

2k please stop making animations people can exploit this was one of my problems with the gme i felt like i was getting beat by players that learn certain animations instead of playing a video game for fun they will do anything to win even cheating with animations and listen to the last couple of comments its clear i was right,i do think you guys at 2k did a great job with patch 4 but to be honest it will be a matter o time before yhese guys learn to cheat everything again please seperate them into cheater server or something its no fun playing a cheater on nba myteam.you could do it by win loss or something not everbody plays this game like there in the nba and getting paid for it,seperate the players thaat cheese with certain players also make them always play each other.

In that case it makes sense. I was trying to cool off a hot Williams by pressuring him with Lavine hoping to cause some turnovers. If it is a concession to help online players that's fine by me.

the thing is i used to do anything to win but around 2k11 i realized i wasnt really having fun..i was just making sure i won the game so i understand both sides.thats why im saying seperate theses guys because your average player dont want to play like that but the die hards are on there to punish people i know because i used to do it....also you usaully end up playing the same players on myteam online the matchmaking needs to be fixed i dont want to play the same cheater over and over and over.....im a adult can you imagine what a younger person feels like if im having theses problems and i am naturally good i dont have to cheat to win and dont and i have more fun to this day just playing for fun.

one other thing i think could be a quick fix is give us a unranked option in myteam that way the try hards and die hards will be busy climbing the ranks and most players that play for fun will play unranked...also please give the 1 silver player or 3 gold player option in this unranked mode if you dont it will be ruined by everybody using the same players every game.i wouldnt bother with this but i believe that the 2k guys listen to us and i love nba2k im just trying to help make the game better and i think theses try hards are running everbody else off the mode thats not good for business.
