Just a jersey fix wouldn't be enough, they need to sort out his face scan - Buckets has a long, slim face, 2k makes him look like he just spent the weekend locked in a bakery.

Such a shame aswell because the sweat, lighting, reflections on the opposite backboard/shot clock are so nice.

Had they nailed body types we actually may have erupted at the art again (2K14 re-visited).

Now it's softened by the questionable body types..... bit of a waste.

Damn I miss those days of awesome looking Live 16 screenshots. Live did few things better than 2K, but Live's style of graphics (player detail, lighting, courts) I preferred over 2k's. Meh, anyways...creme always rises to the top.

Everybody talking about butler need a face scan but what if it turns out he actually had one which I think he did . Butler had the same old one for over 3 games now on this gen . They didn't just make it from scratch. I rather see it from a straight on angle on the court or in the edit player menu than from looking down up

Pics had me look at pics of their WWE game. Even the WWE wrestlers are to big. Brock they added an extra 30lbs to Brock Lesnar.

Takeaways from @Careco17 impressions (in Spanish):

- There is a new shot meter, you basically now need to fill a semi-circle instead of having to stop the shot meter bar in the middle.
- He is saying that players don't look so wide in the actual game, but he refers to arms being "weird". He only played for 5 minutes but said that body shapes are quite changed.
- Faces are not so changed, Kevin Love is really improved.
- Curry keeps shooting the lights out and LeBron James is really unstoppable when going into the paint (no mention to game difficulty).
- He said that celebrations after a basket are really improved, adding quick camera shots of the bench, mascot and stuff.
- Scoreboard is confirmed to be smaller and less disruptive.
- Game controls are quite similar to 2k16.
- He liked graphics, he said body models are more like NBA Live this year.

He only played for 5 minutes, though. He wasn't able to record anything.

If we are to believe this, body types are improved in the game. Really hope this true.

With all this talk of Live, as good as some of their models were, they didnt look great from a far and were sometimes indistinguishable from the broadcast camera...

Hearing those things said in the impressions has me hoping they didnt go too far in the other direction

celebrating after every made shot(instead of just getting back on defense) was a pain on 2k16. it seems that they havent really changed that from his run down. thats annoying. hope they really touched up the frequency of celebrations.

That's very true, and I play from the sky box cam so this would be a big deal for me, I like being able to see the full court without using 2k cam.

Yup. I think Live absolutely nailed legs (calves and ankle size) but IMO as much as we rag on 2K's lack of different body types Live seemed to have only two or three at the most and very few of them were accurate representations of players. I personally don't want 2K moving in that direction...aside from legs which Live did a tremendous job on.

Terrible player model. I'm actually thinking about passing on this year's game. I found the dribbling to be less responsive than ever last year, and almost every year the game is ruined for me by bad CPU AI, specifically on defense. Nothing like coming down to play defense late in a close game, only to give up a layup because your center immediately runs past the baseline and several feet out of bounds. This has been happening for years now. I'm also pretty close to a meltdown on the post game highlights thing. At least 4 years running on that one. Whether it's a PS4 issue or whatever, get it sorted or you may as well just get rid of the post game show altogether.

I was 2k fatigued before last year, at this point my interest is at an all time low.
