Was thinking of making a stretch 4 for Pro-Am, how much does increasing wingspan affect the shooting? Was thinking of having him be like 6-10 and then max out wingspan.

      Alley-oops!

So, I am a 6'6 Playmaker with a 70 driving dunk. I have yet to catch an alleyoop. I purchased the first alley-oop package and in the equipped dunks, I have the generic one auto equipped and equipped the second one to the second alley-oop option.

I have not had any success catching alley-oops in MyCareer games or in MyPark. I've had a few thrown to me in MyPark and my player goes up to grab it looking like he will slam it, but then comes down with the ball everytime. Same thing has happened the few times that someone has thrown me an 'oop in MyPark.

Any ideas? Is my dunking rating too low? I wouldn't think so, because I wouldn't have it equipped then.

I'd go 6'5 or 6'6. You have much better balance when it comes to guarding players in the park. You are able to hang with the 6'7-6'10 players as long as you boxout and keep good position. I am 6'6 (playmaker) and had a 12 rebound game as the biggest player on my team.

In 2k14 you couldn't catch oops to begin with because tendency was at 0, so you had to do a self oop first. I'd try that if I were you.

Yeah, you have to manually shoot, you can now pass out of the alley oop pass(you can throw an alley oop pass out of an alley oop catch). So to convert it, just press X or Square or use the right stick.

Ahhhh, makes sense with the double alley-oop. I did pass out of one once. Perfect, I will give this a try next time.

Timberwolves prime KG or Celtics KG?

I think celtics KG could pass as a post scorer . No clue for Timberwolves KG thought was so all around just like KAT

On the flip side, my team of Gaurds (Playmaker PG and Sharpshooter SG x2) ended a 15x that consisted of a giant glass cleaner, stretch big and a Guard... I forget what build the Guard was.. Shot Creator or Playmaker. The GC didn't dominant us on the boards despite being defended by a 6ft6 Sharpshooter with baby arms lol and on defense they couldn't check my Shooters.. it end up being a decisive victory for us.

I say this to acknowledge there is Isa little bit of kryptonite for each lineup lol. I'm surprised yall were able to use a 6ft8 Sharpshooter as your playmaker. I now realize though you could set some mean screens for that Sharpshooter but that's still impressive considering yall deepest threat as bigs is the middy so defense should be able to play aggressive on yall.

Again, congratulations - I like hearing stories of these unique lineups thriving in the Park.

Thanks for the props man! Honestly though it is all about the competition, only like 7-8 of the games were sort of close with matchups that gave us problems (As well as skill/ovr level to compete). If we faced a sharpshooting team that actually moved the ball with a legit playmaker we would have had a really tough time. Though, since the park is full of guards, we would just let our glass cleaner post up a lot and do hook shots and if they didnt fall, I would be there for the board so we had hella good rebounding/size advantage. Also a simple high pick and roll got our 3 point shooter open against a lot of teams, lot of people dont have the ovr to get their speed/defense maxed, no pick dodger badge either.

We all consistently had 2-4 assists a game, most of the time 8-9 assists combined, so that was a big deal. Other teams that even kept it close had like....2-3. Ball hogs that arn't maxed out in badges/stats don't stand a chance winning.

Saw this mentioned on reddit, might be the explanation why contact layups are broke

Perfectly fine, my speed is 81, rebound 77, strength 66 and I can dunk on centers from under the rim. I've been playing at power forward a lot with it, and as long as I'm not matched up with a 7'3 post scorer I can more than hold my own, even with glass cleaners. I use the boosts in the park just in case I have to guard point guards, they rarely score when I do. When I originally made him I thought it would be for guarding Point guard, shooting guard and small forward, but I've literally guarded 1 through 5 with not much trouble.

Currently on my 3rd player. Went with 6'7 PG playmaker, then a stretch big and now I'm doing a 6'5 slasher. I've been reading bit about layups being broken and stuff, but in terms of dunking and contact dunks does the slasher work?

Reason I mention this is because in Park there seems to be a lot of Glass Cleaner Centers who are draining threes at/or above a 50% clip. One guy has made 48 from 74 attempts with a 35 attribute rating.
well if we had park tiers of whats popular and highly used in the park.

Tier 1- Playmakers, Sharpshooters, Stretch bigs

Tier 2- Glass cleaners, Shotcreators, point forwards

Tier 3- Post scorers, Athletic finishers

Tier 4- Paint protectors, lockdown defender, slashers

Really trying to find a new player to play with and I'm stuck.. I loved the idea of shot creators till I realized it's not really my play style. I'm not a great pull up guy or step backs etc ( even tho I've gotten better.)
I feel like I'm more of a slasher (how I play in real life) and spot up shooter. (Mostly bc our squad needs the spacing). So right now I'm completely torn on what to make. This is stressful.
