Re: NBA 2K17 Arena Authenticity Trailer
Only video game fans demand a person or people personally address why an aspect of their work is incorrect.
There is a post from a company rep saying that the issue will get looked into and that the nba is somewhat involved. That should be enough.

Re: NBA 2K17 Arena Authenticity Trailer
Interesting how bland NBA 2K16 sounds with presentation switched to "On Court"...Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Arena Authenticity Trailer
Perhaps because they did it live and you're watching a filtered tv broadcast. Did you want it to look like it does on TV or in person? That's a call 2K has to make.
I've been to many Pistons game live and seen hundreds of times more games on TV. Totally different experience for the senses.Comment

I agree that lighting on TV and in real life are two different things, but 2K doesn't even have it close to real life either.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Arena Authenticity Trailer
Just a thought: sometimes atmosphere in an arena looks and sounds differently in person than it does via tv broadcast. I don't think it's fair to compare tv screenshots for that reason. If there's a design flaw that's different but color tones can vary as can sound quality."Sometimes i sit and piss myself" - Quote Cmebfresh

It's true but MSG honestly looks like the Pistons' old Silverdome with how bright it is.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Arena Authenticity Trailer
So someone is suppose to still support a product that doesn't offer has desired feature, regardless of what that particular feature is? That's called being smart; not about looking for reasons to complain. I didn't "lose" much when I skipped 2k15; I actually saved $65.
There's a 28 page thread on it:

This trailer didn't get me as hyped as I expected. Either I expected more out of the Arena Authenticity or this trailer just didn't show off the things I expected.
I am/was most looking forward to authentic crowds. Hopefully there is more variety than what was shown in this trailer. I'm a Celtics fan, been to plenty of games over the past 10 years or so, and I know how passionate the fans are. Perfectly exemplified this past playoffs when the crowd was going crazy in game 6 while the C's were still down double digits. My big thing is that I want the crowd to sound real and live and not generic. This shouldn't be an issue if the crowds were truly recorded in arenas but if they weren't it will be very noticeable. As a C's fan I'd love to hear the passionate "Let's go Celtics!" sounding authentic in the game.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Arena Authenticity Trailer
Staples Center, Madison Square Garden never had that "teatrical" lighting (most of the lights focusing the court and only a few the stands).
For what i saw, NBA 2K17 is not the exception.
They lie to us when they say that courts will have Arena specific lightingComment

You added my statement that I love the NBA. I also said I love 2K...the game. So why would you question why I would buy it??Comment
