Logic. If you got to keep them permanently, you could pretty much max out every category for your player over a couple of seasons.

Wouldn't say that - it just depends on the frequency.

Help! So I've just been spending my first mins in my court doing work etc. so I go to advance to my first game and do the open practice on the day of the game, I then go to play the game but it says this event had passed. I though I may have somehow stuffed up so I tried clicking on any event on the following day and I keep getting a msg saying I need to play the game immediately before in order to progress. Any ideas?

Is there any way to play My Career offline? I remember you were able to convert it somehow when you tried playing it without network connection. This would be interesting regarding caps and VC.
Since I'm not interested in park or Pro-Am, I just want to create whatever I want. It's called MYplayer, not 2KsPlayer. So if I want to play offline with a 7'4 sharpshooting center they should allow you to do so.

Not possible. Only way I think to do this is Myleague create a player then player lock.

I made a 6'4 playmaking point guard and these are his shooting caps

Mid - 78
Three - 72

Wtf I'm a guard. Why are his shooting caps so low

No, it's not about dominating. I hate to be bound to 2K's caps. I understand that they limit MyPlayers so there will be less cheese in the online modes, but for me, who doesn't care about Park or Pro-Am, it's a real pain. I want to have the freedom to create whatever type I want. And since I'm not going to compete online, this should be possible.

I mean, you can't even recreate certain player types. If I want to make a Dirk PF who can dominate the post and shoot from mid and deep, I would have to go with stretch PF or post scorer, but I can't combine post scoring and mid/deep range shooting. Same with MJ and Kobe, you can't have a deadly post fadeaway and at the same time high shooting and/or inside scoring ratings.

The real NBA is all about hybrid players that have multiple skill sets. Not just at the star level either. Forget Kobe and Dirk. You can't necessarily create a typical ROLE PLAYER now in this game such as a 3 and D guy which the league is full of.
