I figured out my problem last night:

Only your team's point guard can use the change assignments feature (tap left bumper then hit the icon of the assignment that you want to change).

The first two nights I was playing as a shooting guard, so it wouldn't let me change assignments.

ok yea I think I was at point guard when I did it to. because we had 2 sgs so it moved me to point. left bumper you mean left on the dpad or L1?

I players 2 games today and both counted for rep, stats, and VC.

I am having trouble playing walk-on games with friends. Do same as last year, all in MyCourt, choose ProAm Walk On, we all leave and go into different lobbies.

Any trick to it? Am I doing something wrong? Or just wait until it's addresses?

So, finally got out of amateur status, but I can't use custom images at PRO, did they do away with them, or are they only at the legend/elite level?

Or am I just silly and can't find it?

Is it me or do contested layups go in too often? I feel like putting the stick up to contest does nothing this year. Last 3 games I've gone up again two point forwards and one shot creator and they just have no regard for my guy. I'm a sharpshooter SF who is one upgrade away from maxing agility and defense.

The badges need to be tuned, the sharpshooter + badges can get greens from almost anywhere while someone is right in their face.

you have to contest manually this year - your myplayer will do a lazy attempt at defense if we just use the right analog to contest this year.

i havent mastered yet but its a combo of L2, triangle, the right analog, and defensive positioning. its a different combination of each depending on the contest.

i can feel/see when i do a good job at contesting - and just like in real basketball, great offense will beat good defense, so even when i do everything right - shots will still fall.

i ran up against a nightmare matchup for me in walk on yesterday. he was 6'5 210lb (maybe he weighed more, i dont remeber) sharshooter SF. i am a 6'9 glass cleaner.

it was fun playing against him, but even when i DID manage to stay infront of him he splashed me (pause lol) all game

but on the flip side, he got absolutely NO BOARDS even when he had position. i didnt feel he was OP, he went for 24pts on (lol the shame, THE SHAAAAAME) i went for 13pt 10rb and my teammates didnt understand i had a mouse on me in the post - so we lost.

but it was fun playing against him. he couldnt.really do anything but shoot - but damn, could he shoot

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, perhaps I don't have the correct badges, but I'm an 82 OVR PG and I tried R1 and L1 on defense and wasn't able to bring up any menu to change assignments.

Perhaps they weren't able to implement this feature on PS4? I'll try again tonight, but as of now. I'm not seeing it.

People scoring 50, 60, 70 pts meanwhile I'm too busy with a windex bottle power washing the glass with a Point Forward.

They had a bunch of 80ovrs and PG was 95 !!

Are people still getting split it from player with their friends in Walk-On Pro-AM, either in a squad entering from MyPark or MyCourt?

Are people still not receiving rep for Walk-On Pro-AM games?

I occasionally get split but I consistently don't earn rep in Pro Am. It shows me earning rep but my rep resets to start of Rookie 1. 5 walk-on games and each game my rep has reset.

I put in a trouble ticket for the rep issue

Did you shrink you wingspan and ignore strength and weight being positive factors for paint protection 😕😕

Most users, tall and short, would answer yes to all of the above... so many want all the offensive positives that they are shrinking their wingspan, making there dude super lightweight and ignoring strength in their attribute upgrades.

There will be consequences to being a lightweight with t-rex arms. I'm not saying you are this person. It could be a badge you're lacking that's bottlenecking your defensive shot contest in the paint.

They probably go in a lot because shot contest defense is only high for LDD.
