Re: NBA 2K17 Pro-Am Discussion Thread
It's not the archetypes. It's not the badges.
It's. The. Shooting.
Shooting is too easy, getting a green is too easy, and getting a green is a guaranteed basket like that god forsaken patch 4.
I'm a Lockdown Defender, my 3 caps at 60, I should be a 35% shooter, at best. I should hit 3 or 4 wide open corner shots out of 10. Shooting from the wings and, even worse, from the top of the key should be out of the question. Right now I'm close to 50%, and that doesn't come from good corner 3s exclusively. That 50% is also the result of "I'm 3-3 and we're up by 20, I'm gonna take this awful shot because who freaking cares if I miss... but it could also be green". I could easily shoot 60+% if I stuck to good shots.
So why shouldn't my friend with a Stretch PF an 90+ 3 hit from 35 feet? Hell, he should never miss.
Only that he should. No one should shoot 80% from 35 feet. Or 60%. Or 40%. It's a freaking 35 footer. But, you know, green light.
And I should miss a lot more corner shots. But you know, green light.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Pro-Am Discussion Thread
They should remove the shot meter from Pro-Am. Then it would take a bit more skill to learn your release point and thus would result in more misses.Football: Manchester United

I just hate the meter I wish 2k would just get rid of it. It should go back to the blue flicker that used to happen to let you know when to release(wasn't 100%) No shot in basketball is 100% not even the free throws.

Re: NBA 2K17 Pro-Am Discussion Thread
The best shooters never look at the shot meter and know their release. So that wouldn't change anythingComment

Re: NBA 2K17 Pro-Am Discussion Thread
I agree they should tone down the ankle breaker badge and their dunking and shooting ability. but I feel like the speed and play making of playmakers and point forwards is their specialty that shouldn't change.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Pro-Am Discussion Thread
7'' pf sharpshooter΄here shooting 72.4% 3pt in my first 20 games in pro am(pc). Its not the badges which are all hof neither the 91 rating. I was shooting lights out even in 60s-70s. Something is wrong with the meter its like playing on rookie . All my team is shooting near 60% btw and we are at 20-0 with 2 stretch bigs.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Pro-Am Discussion Thread
Has anyone encountered the shot meter glitch when playing pro am or park?
I'll post a YouTube video when I get home from work, but basically the way it works is that you hold your release til the meter fills up release the ball but the meter goes back to half the meter being filled up.
It results in a lot of bricks for my sharpshooter and is really annoying. It happens to me at least 3-4 times throughout a game and the only way I can fix it is by releasing the ball hella early.
Anybody else getting this glitch? And has 2k said anything about it?
Edit- went ahead and found a video showing exactly what happens to me sometimes when I shoot the ball

I also seem to be having this problem as well, but I got to the pint where I just gave up on the meter and feedback and ended up shooting a little better now.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Pro-Am Discussion Thread
The only way I've been able to get around it is by releasing the ball early, bc that makes my release green.
My friends keep telling me that quick shots like Aldridge glitch like this.Comment
