It was this way last year as well. Any custom teams skip the pre-game stuff. I replaced the Hornets with the '92-93 Hornets, and so this is what I had every game.

Have a presentation problem with the expansion teams,

Home and away games i dont get the pregame (Kenny,EJ,Shaq, even lineups just goes straight to jumpball) and no halftime or post-game show

Anyone else experiencing this?

Not experiencing the issue for my expansion team based out of St. Louis. I'm on PC, however, so it may not be applicable to you if you're rolling with a console. I started in the offseason with MyLeague, too, so that may have something to do with it.

How do I control another team after starting MyLeague?

Should be able to go to Options>MyLeague Automation and at the very top it'll show what team you're controlling. You can go through and set each team to a "Yes" or "No" on user control and switch out their automation settings accordingly (usually I just set everyone to Auto and then go to the teams I want to control and set the appropriate settings to manual).

So here's Episode 1 of my MyLeague. Expanded the league to 32 teams, bring back the Seattle Supersonics and the Spirits of St. Louis. Bringing the Sonics back I had to add Ray Allen to the roster and get him back in Seattle green. I'm only controlling the Spirits and trying to build a team similar to the Spurs

I'm experiencing this too. I assumed it was because my team didn't have any noteworthy players for them to talk about, or no season stats yet. But it could be the custom team element

Maybe it's because St Louis is a supported team in 2k. They have a pre-built audio and everything, don't they?

Not sure if this has been discussed yet but when doing a fantasy draft there is now an option to include all Teams, all NBA teams, all NBA teams plus classics, all NBA teams plus Euro teams. I don't remember this being in last year because I would have to trade classics to be able to use them in myleague.

I agree....if using any of the pre built teams you don't get any of the pre/post game or other presentation elements.

Hmm. Well, I am using St. Louis the city, but I'm not using the prebuilt St. Louis Sound. I didn't like the name, so I created an expansion team based in St. Louis and named it something different.

EDIT: Going to confirm this IS happening for my other expansion team, the Sonics -- they're not a prebuilt by they (theoretically) have custom audio and I get about 3 seconds of the beginning hype video/pictures before the game before it goes straight to jump ball with them. Has happened at home/away games.

Seems to be an issue with the custom audio. If you haven't already, report it to the Bugs thread.
I'm reporting it there now for myself.

That pre built team theory makes sense. I'm using 6 pre built teams to avoid the file becoming an online save.

How would that work in terms of scheduling if you did all teams, wouldn't that mean there would be about 60 + teams you'd have to schedule?

It would be under Coach Gamplan>whatever team>Rotation Timeline (the start button using the Xbox controller).

It's named something different for some reason. The draft class editing, downloading, and saving is also like that, you have to Scouting>Prospect Scouting, then click on any prospect to get to the options to download a new draft class.

30 team control (or more if you do expansion teams) is a minimum for the mode and the way they allow global roster edits, as well as being able to toggle through teams without having to leave the menus and switch squads, is a concession to that in my mind.

Operating 1-team in a 30+ team MyLeague just can't be done -- I'm not sure any franchise mode is capable of that, really, the computer just gets things so messed up sometimes.

THIS! After couple of years I want to finally play with one team in ML, and dont worry about stupid AI decisions, low $$$ signing, stupid trade logic. When finally they will improve that?

When you say custom audio are you talking about Arena Sounds?
