Sweet man I'm going to try out your sliders hopefully later tonight if I can pull myself away from the PlayStation VR.

Im glad that people like you are helping work the problem instead of just giving up. I've given this game way more chances than most but I see the potential. I'll post my results later.

One thing to consider is that I'm on PC, so I don't know what tuners you have that I don't, but I just got an in game update yesterday, so my guess is I'm up to you guys.

And hey, don't sell yourself short, you are the one that really pushed the game to the pinnacle with your lower pass accuracy and ball security. Without that I wouldn't have been nearly as happy.

Just had Karl Anthony Towns do a number on me. He put up 43 and 20 on a mix of pick and pops, post moves and alley oops.

Where can i see these sliders? And what difficulty do you guys play on, how much minutes, and game speed? When i was playing the game for the first week or so i set it on superstar, it was really good, cause i loved the game, and it was hard, sometimes i would get blown out, sometimes i would win easily, some matches were close. But now, superstar seems to easy for me. I've started a Spurs myleague and in the first game against warriors i easily built a cca 15 point lead and didn't really feel happy that i got that win even though it was against probably the best team in the league.

Read about 10 to 20 previous posts in this thread. He posted some under a spoiler heading. Basically some of us feel that the game plays more true to real life when using sliders set from the pro level. Obviously default pro is way too easy so those sliders make the game harder but IMO a fair and more realistic harder. The all star and superstar levels, to me, achieve their difficulty by the CPU being cheesy. The only real way to quantify though because everyone's skill level is different is to say, last year and for as long as I can remember I played on superstar and this year I could barely compete on all star so I decided to try this route and am loving it. If you have success and like superstar these might not be for you but it doesn't hurt to try and maybe you'll be surprised. The other option is to hit up the slider thread there are superstar sliders in there.

So it's almost October 16 Eastern Standard Time.

Just making a note in the impressions thread that a month after early release, we're still mostly in the dark on how all the new tools, settings and AI work on offense and defense.

Aside from any of my impressions of game play, my impression of 2K's competence in simply marketing and explaining the work it invested in creating and putting in the game this year is that's it's been an unmitigated failure.

This is the first 2k where I feel like I have to play another human rather than the cpu. Because of how repetitive the cpu is.

Got a quick game in earlier before I left my house & witnessed this. I'm Biyombo. This happened at a critical point of the game that sent the Nuggets on a nice little run shortly after I was cheated out of a rebound (that led to an easy fast break bucket). This is on Superstar. I've been jumping in & out of sliders.

Aside from this, I've actually been making some progress. Although, it can be very discouraging when plays like this happen. Even worse when it occurs multiple times throughout the game. I suppose when I can lock in on the right defensive settings I will see more improvement but i know there is only so much that can be done with the current state of the game.

I played against the Heat and Whiteside grabbed 16 (!) offensive boards, I guess 10 - 12 of them were like the video above.

Well he is Whiteside.....haha nah I'm playing. Honestly, that game would have been restarted by myself. Why can't the opposing team's big man just box out the user players & earn that rebound?

I just spent 3 hours meticulously editing a roster (with no breaks), then out of nowhere the game got an error and made me restart 2k17 and i lost everything.

I had to vent somewhere. What a waste of time.

I just quit playing this game. I reached the point where I hate this game more than 2K15 and I didn't think that this would be possible. Just pure frustration and a complete waste of time

Yea I learned my lesson this year next year I will not be buying 2K at launch
