Where can i see these sliders? And what difficulty do you guys play on, how much minutes, and game speed? When i was playing the game for the first week or so i set it on superstar, it was really good, cause i loved the game, and it was hard, sometimes i would get blown out, sometimes i would win easily, some matches were close. But now, superstar seems to easy for me. I've started a Spurs myleague and in the first game against warriors i easily built a cca 15 point lead and didn't really feel happy that i got that win even though it was against probably the best team in the league."The designated hitter rule is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's free throws."

Just had a fantastic couple of games last night. CPU teams that should play slow, did play slow.
FYI: This is the time of the game (about 1 month in) when the negativity on OS is at a critical mass. Ignore these people. The game has shortcomings, but it's not "broken", and is much better thn any preceding 2K.Comment

And no doubt we will hear how NBA2K4/5/6/7/8/9/10/11/12/13/14/15/16 was better.
But those posters were saying the exact same thing about the previous years version that they are now saying is the standard bearer.Comment

Had some great games this afternoon using our OS brother, Turty's roster set.... *SHOUT OUT and PROPS* to Turty for getting his roster set ready so quickly for the masses!
I realized that rather than try and make slider adjustments to make up for HUM defense....I did what I have never had to do till this iteration....PLAY OFF-BALL D! And believe me....this has changed my experience 100 fold! And actually makes playing D less of a chore, but actually pretty darn fun! I actually have to pay attention and make decisions to try and get the CPU out of their offensive sets and break their flow. Trying to see whats going on with all the cutters, picks being set off ball, backdoor cuts, etc....
I also found a camera angle that gives me that broadcast feel BUT allows me to see the action where it doesn't hinder my stick skills (for what little is left at my age these days. LOL!)....AND the BIGGEST thing for me....Found a game speed value that provides 'weight' to the player so there is no sliding and such....
Whats great is that I have brought this Off-Ball defensive mindset and popped in NBA 2K16 and man....it also changes the gameplay to make it a keeper in my collection to relive the 15-16 Cavs, "All-In" season!
Look forward to see how future patches improve the game....Or I may just disconnect from the network and enjoy what I got now!Comment

I have probably been more vocal about issues than I've ever been early this season......but I have to say, had a string of great games myself with some slider adjustments...not even anything that crazy...
Maybe I will go back to my roots and stick to offline until the patch drops for now..Comment

seems like every game i play (my gm), there ends up being some type of injury to key players on my team or the opposing team, about 50% of them being injuries that will end in the player missing major time. i think injuries needs to be tuned.
fast break spacing is improved but slashers/finishers need to run the lanes to the basket and shooters space the floor at the 3 point line. no 3 on 1 break should end in both wings stopping at the 3 point line (killing the break itself). fast breaks need to have either team specific philosophies, actual playbooks or have slash/run to the 3 point line be tied to specific players tendencies.
pump fakes on the perimeter are useless. i have had one or 2 instances where it has worked, but other than that, nothing. even when someone is closing out hard on a hot/high rated 3 point shooter, NOTHING.
there is too much bumping to muck up certain plays...(primarily floppy actions) i can call a floppy in the back court with 22 secs on the shot clock and because of cpu re routing, the play wont initiate until the shot clock is well under 10 secs.
i play on superstar as well and am having fun on that setting only with slider changes to the follow up tendencies (switched to 100) beating teams i should beat so far, have back to back games coming up early in season against the spurs and grizz, followed by a home game w/ gsw. i think i will have a good idea if the current difficulty setting works for me or not.Last edited by mvpd34; 10-17-2016, 03:05 AM.Comment

Net/rim sounds are barely audible. What a joke. Shot clock also pretty much on mute.
Body types are horrible. Gordon Hayward is a tank irl, yet in 2K17 he has arms skinnier than a female model
Utah Jazz court is wrong. 2K17 has the wrong colour of stain (wood) Should be brighter and more white to it. Currently too yellowish
Running plays is broken. Takes way too long for a play to get initiated. By the time im nearly done running a play, shotclock has expired. Horrible. Not to mention horrible AI defence, PNR, bumping animations, passes too fast etc. List goes on. Very disappointed. Hope next patch fixes all this and moreComment

Gonna drop this here where I know it will get in the list of what 2K devs see.
These are legacy issues, and I know Czar says transition coding is more complicated than most people realize, but it is what it is.
I also want to quote some stuff I put in another thread to go with this:
Transition AI and shooting percentages and logic are a whole other ball game. I actually think anything in transition operates on a whole other logic system from what happens when the offense sets into a half court system, because there are just too many ways ratings are simply ignored in transition, on both sides of the ball.
I also think transition outcomes are more highly influenced by team or player hot streaks, so that when one team begins to get on a roll, transition outcomes amplify that team hot streak in an OP way, on either side of the ball. So fast break speed boosts/nerfs and AI boosts/nerfs become too lopsided and game balance suffers.

I feel like the crazy momentum from both sides (hum/cpu) that we've seen in the past few 2k's have reared their ugly heads since the latest patch. I've had 3 or 4 games in a row where the CPU has went on like 20-5 runs. Whereas before they would occasionally happen, but not nearly as often as I've seen recently. I've came back from multiple 20+ points deficient's myself, as well. At release I really wasn't feeling any crazy shifts like I am now. Hopefully, it's just an anomaly, but it's something I will keep an eye on moving forward.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague
