Wpuld this effect the Superstar setting online Mike?
A million times this. Literally my only issue with the game right now is the shooting percentages. It wasn't this bad last year on superstar sim, which gave a good balanced game.

It felt like you had to game plan and play smart, but not cheap because the AI didn't bury every shot it put up. I got faith this can be remedied

Big shout out to Mike for dropping in for us.

P.S. Congrats on the promotion, 24th!

The on-ball steals are a little much this year. I was playing on all-star (6 minute quarters) and must have poked the ball loose at least 8 times in the game with just Kris Dunn. Just for frame of reference in 2k16 on all-star I frequently had games with no steals at all

Bigs can cover to much ground on defense(they are too fast)

Late contest on laups matter too much.

        Random blocks doing pumpfakes.

Leaning shots for guys who have catch and shoot badge should be removed.

Re: No simulation sliders this year. Out the box is default.

My issue is that human shooting is to easy on hof default for 2k17. Sim sliders used to be 40, 40, 45, and 47. Now its all 50s. So every open shot drops. Its not a big deal bc we can change it ourselves, but on default everyone can shoot. Imo. Going back to the old shooting sliders on hof would be great. Also inside contact shot frequency is now at 50. The old sim sliders had inside contact at 100 which makes paint play more realistic. Thus, inside shooting 40, close 40, 45 mid, and 47 three. Inside contact frequency 100. Everything else is good so far. I like the shot contest strength on jumpers better a 55 than the old 60 on sim sliders. This is all for user.

My suggestion. Thanks for asking Beluba.

At least, that's how I wanted to design the difficulties.

If you guys can agree to a good slider set for Superstar and HoF, I'd be happy to adjust the defaults. I can change them in an update next week.

Just let me know exactly what you want in this thread.
I'd like to see shooting sliders dropped across the board for both Human and CPU. Right now, I'd say on average the shooting percentages are in the 53%-57% range. I'd like to see them go down to more like 45%-50% on average. I know these percentages can vary user to user, but I think everyone can agree too many shots are falling right now.

Also, Czar mentioned on his stream that the CPU ACE adjustments are more extreme on the higher difficulty levels. If I have it set to Hall of Fame and modify the sliders the difficulty changes to Custom. Is the ACE behavior is maintained depending on what difficulty setting I was on when I modified the sliders or does changing the sliders alter this behavior?

Mike I think there is confusion about how adjusting sliders impacts ACE. I think all sim games want all of this ACE engine, but changing one slider by one point creates the 'custom' difficulty and we're not sure what that does to ACE.

I think that the fouls on HOF are a bit to extreme... especially in the paint blocking shots... if u touch the person it is a whistle. If the foul sliders can be toned down that would be awesome

Those numbers I posted came from the default Hall of Fame setting.

I just want ****ing sliders back. Playing mycareer HoF and the pf on my team won't rotate out to guard the other pfs because most of them can't shoot 3s according to their ratings... and yet a pf with 59 open 3 just went 7-9 on us. Contested shots also need to be toned way down. Far too many of those falling.

Set it to HOF then tweak away.

What if I suck at the game lol. I'm playing at All-Star and doing decent but want sim stats.
