10-15 Create-A-Team slots, with all the court and jersey customization features from MyLeague (please finally let us add images to the baseline)

For created players: new hairstyles, new body types, new accessories (goggles/masks) , and the ability to import faces/tattoos from an uploaded photo (like in WWE 2k)

Im gonna add to the court and jersey customizations.

Arena:
-images anywhere on the court or on baseline/sideline, with court lines above images
-Disconnect courts from arenas
-Able to change wood color on any part of the court (apron, outside perimeter, inside perimeter, paint, etc.)
-Images on dornas and baskets (bit of a reach i admit)

Jersey:
-a couple more image slots
-more jerseys in rebrands or more rebrand slots (home, away, up to 5 alts, practice home/away)
-more collar and stripe options
-waistband images
-please let the images match each other on the shorts! For me, its impossible to make my own bottom stripe on the shorts without it messing up and not matching evenly, or even going around the entire leg of the shorts.
-ability to move or delete nike or nba patches on the jerseys. What if after how many years of own MyLeague we want Under Armour jerseys? Or, dare i say it, Big Baller Brand jerseys? Or back to Adidas? Better yet, include it in the league meetings for certain years, and be able to specify the length of that uniform supplier deal.

With the courts, as of right now there is no possible way to make the exact court i picture below (PC Mod) and things i listed above would make it possible as well as make it possible to make truly realistic fictional courts for any team, especially with how theres a new court in the NBA every year.

Just those things alone would keep it from ever getting stale. I mean the actual management aspect and gameplay isnt perfect but its still fun IMO. Getting these in the game and getting more management features in and getting gameplay right would make this game the best ever, for any sports game.

Adding a little something to my post above,

THE ABILITY TO EDIT ALL-STAR GAME JERSEYS AND COURTS! Plus the draft showcase game too.

And maybe include FIBA and the Olympics in our MyLeague would be fantastic too, of course with the ability to edit those jerseys and courts too.

1. to use the jordan calf sleeve in mycareer

2. when in a blowout in the 4Q, your myplayer rest for the remainder of the game

3. realistic substitution patterns, myplayer shouldn't be getting his first rest in the middle of the third quarter

4. to fix when a team calls a timeout, makes a basket coming from a timeout, the defending team call a another timeout

5. when editing shoes, to be able to rotate to see the bottom of the shoe

The archetype system needs SERIOUS work!
Currently the archetypes we have are:
Playmaker/Point Forward
Sharpshooter/Stretch Big
Shot Creator/Post Scorer
Slasher/Athletic Finisher
Lockdown Defender/Rim Protector
Glass Cleaner

We should have a way to combine them, OR keep them pure to create more variation. Sliders during this combination part as well.
(numbers have not been given deep thought as this is 2Ks job, but...)
Let's say that a PG had their BASE attributes in the following categories at 75, the archetype you choose should determine how much this base attribute gets capped at. For example,

PG playmaker (Pure)
94 speed, 94 ball handle, 94 pass (+19)

a pure playmaker (like how we had the archetypes this year) would have a boost of 19 in their relevant attributes at the cap, while the irrelevant attributes remain at the base value (whatever that may be for each attribute, obviously they will not all be 75, as it wouldn't make sense for a PG to have 75 off reb)

PG Playmaker Primary – Sharpshooter Secondary
88 speed, 88 ball handle, 88 pass (+13)
81 stand 3, 81 mid range, 81 contested jumper (+6)

A primary playmaker & secondary sharpshooter will have these increases in their relevant attributes (again, assuming all of these base attributes are 75, as well as knowing these are not the only relevant attributes)
ALSO, maybe a slider that can push the playmaker side to +15 and the sharpshooter side to +4 or vice versa (but limit this option)

PG Playmaker/Sharpshooter (COMBO)
85spd, 85ball handle, 85pass (+10)
84 stand 3 84 mid range, 84 contested jumper (+9)
Self explanatory


And the same below that can allow for a realistic pure shooter or 3 and D player
SF Sharpshooter (Pure)
94 stand 3, 94 mid range, 94 contested jumper (+19)

SF Sharpshooter Primary - Lockdown Defender Secondary
88 Stand 3, 88 mid range, 88 contested jumper (+13)
81 Lat. Quickness, 81 Steal, 81 Block (+6)

SF Sharpshooter/Lockdown Defender (COMBO)
85 Stand 3, 85 mid range, 85 contested jumper (+10)
84 Lat. Quickness, 84 steal, 84 block (+9)

BADGES
There should be an attribute requirement on certain levels for badges. Maybe Hall of Fame Deep Range Deadeye should require 94 Contested Jumper, that way only those who chose to play a Pure Sharpshooter build can achieve it, whereas the requirement for gold would be 85 or so, allowing those who aren't pure but have a secondary to achieve gold. Then maybe silver may require 80 so that those who have sharpshooter as a secondary can achieve silver, depending on how far they slid their sharpshooter build during character creation.

In my opinion, this type of overhaul in the system where you can mix and match play styles will create for more variety in player creations and more interesting pro am team builds as well as individual player builds. The numbers I used don't have to be final as they are solely for demonstrating the concept, but I honestly don't see a downside to this much depth in player creation. You can make a Steph curry type PG that won't be TOO great at playmaking or 3s, or a kyrie type playmaker/shot creator, or still remain a pure shooter like kyle korver, or a Durant type shot creator/3point shooter, or a draymond type point-forward/lockdown defender. The possibilities would be endless.

What do you guys think? I would make my own post on this but I think there's a minimum post limit before you can create your own thread.

GAMEPLAY

Offball movement
Offball movement needs a makeover as well. They way we run around without the ball is WAY too linear. If you see a real NBA game, you can see Steph Curry or alike shooters curling off screens and running off angles. While in offball situations, 2K should allocate the right stick for this type of precise movement. This would also make it easier to run plays in modes like pro-am so we're not running stupidly around screens to the spot we want to go.

PASSING
I'm pretty sick of throwing a pass to where I didn't intend, just because of the path the receiver was running. As it stands in 2k, the RECEIVER is who determines where the pass goes, and not the passer. It should be the other way around. We should be able to choose whether or not we want to LEAD PASS or to stop the receiver from moving and catch it where they are. Too many times have I passed the ball to someone who was running into traffic when I didn't intend to lead the pass into a crowd. Fix this.

You know the coloured bar which shows how well you defended a shot?
Give us the option to display the quality of the CPU's shot contest. Because right now, I don't understand how I'm contesting shots well (according to the bar) and the CPU is still hitting. Meanwhile, all my not-so-contested shots are missing.

Another thing is the CPU's stamina. Give us the option to display their stamina bar so that we can know how the CPU is using their turbo.
It feels like the CPU is turboing the same amount as me (they need to so that they can keep up with me on defense and beat me on offense), but I switch sides in the middle of games to check their energy levels, and I see they've used far less energy.

By the way, I'm putting all my sliders on pretty much the same level, with some even biased towards the human player, but the CPU keeps getting away with bs.

Faster playing game pace like it was out of the box 2k17 before the patches made it nba 2k16.5. The ability when playing with friends online in a private match to use custom sliders, the VC is rewarded based on length of game so no reason why we shouldn't be able to modify how we like.

With it being the NBA's second year partnered with Stance. We should be able to choose which socks our team is wearing when we are selecting our uniforms.
