Well, yeah the percentage will be off the charts, that's their whole thing. No one's denying that and I don't think anyone is saying they completely lock them down.

But you can slow it down, and make them play at your pace. It takes a squad on the same page to do it, yes, but it's do able.

I'll be the first to say it's crazy. If they could pull up from the opposite foul line they would. Honestly I'd nit be surprised if it dropped either. But it's not like it's impossible to deal with, especially if you dealt with 2k15 at the tail end

Please help me understand how this is not considered OP.
Do you know where a 35 foot jumper is on the court ? Even with Hall of Fame Limitless Range your meter wont allow you to shoot from there. And you say 35+ and beyond ? Why is the sharpshooter wide open in the first place ? That seems to be your problem.

Obviously not.. 35 feet is like the game winner Steph hit on the Thunder during regular season. Sharpshooters are not shooting from there and beyond with ease. Stop the bs.

I don't think anyone here would say that their impossible to stop. I also think that we're mostly on the same page, as far as the how to on defending a sharpshooter.

The game is still early and people are still learning. What do you think this game is going to be in 3 months when the "cheese" is fully fleshed out? I think 2k should patch it now, before all these sharpshooters get used to the insane 3's it's less backlash that way.

That was actually a 38 footer, but I don't know what I'm talking about...

Guys - the problem is your low defensive stats. Almost every build has low defense except lockdown - that makes sharpshooters % higher. I do agree though that they are way too easy. Making open shots from normal range I'm fine with - long range is just dumb. No one is curry - no one else should be. Sharpshooter is basically curry clone in terms of shooting. I agree that with good defense they can be stopped. But stop for a second and just ask yourself who the hell does that in walk ons etc. This all translates into sharpshooters domination. I believe it's a problem with both the effectiveness of the build and the community. But I still agree atleast their range should be nerfed a bit. We don't see other builds dominating to this level. 3pters are deadly unlike the other builds who are mostly mid or inside. We need too see a balance. The point of the archetype changes was balance - right now sharpshooters are breaking the balance.

Dude, you speak like you know it all. My team is 33-3 in pro am and our SG is shooting 67% from 3 through 36 games and that is his favorite spot to shoot from. He brings the ball up and pulls up couple steps from mid court and its money more often than not. I shoot 58% myself and im not even a good shooter.

You can argue and give me all types of stories how to play D or switch on screens but it won't change the fact that sharpshooters are OP compared to other classes.

I didn't say it was exactly 35. I said 35 ft 'IS LIKE' the game winner he shot. Make sure you're reading everything. And whats the difference ? Thats still the beyond you're referring to that is so easy for sharpshooters to hit and its not. Im not here to debate the length of Steph curry jumpshot. I used it as a reference point so you could see that you're argument is flawed. First problem is you're leaving a sharpshooter wide open and its probably not even from 35. You're exaggerating.

I have to agree with this. For all doubters there are multiple live streams and videos for evidence. These guys are pulling up from 35 like it's nothing. What kind of boost does limitless range give?
