2K obviously doesn't care about Offline Users

Why is MyCareer not considered Offline? I don't play it online or use it for MyPark or ProAM, both modes I really don't like because I don't play online. I'm just playing the game offline against the CPU as well. The only difference we have are you guys get sliders. Realistically we want the same thing, default sliders working how a sim NBA game should be.

Would it be alright if I use this thread to discuss the patches/tuners then? If not that's cool too.

so it appears that this is going to be further tuned based off what beluba tweeted earlier today that the tuning update was a little under done.

speculating that the shot i posted earlier will now be a B+ instead of a B- which i'm ok with since technically by actual statistical standards that shot should be considered open as there is a 4+ foot gap between defender/shooter

i think he just said that because it seems most mycareer guys on here use it just for park, but by all means go ahead and discuss offline mycareer related things..as long as youre playing on all-star or more :P get that rookie/rpo cheese out of here as nothing about those difficulties has any viability in balance

As far as the ai making everything, I'm definitely not seeing that any longer.

Reset your system to make sure you have the update, then play a few games. I promise you'll see a world of difference .

I just played a game, All Star with speed bumped to 58 (advice from another thread). I won easily but Durant still can't hit crap. I know my timing isn't green, but it's ridiculous. What I've found is that if the shot is early, there's a real good chance it goes in, but if you're late, almost 0% chance. Ridiculous.

I guess I might just be hard to please, but here are things that have me shaking my head...

CPU side out play, have seen this consistently since release, the SF inbounds, my SF just loafs and lets the inbounder cut to the basket, easy 2. Happened twice this game.

My guys on D routinely just lose their men. I think "turnaround/pivot/find the ball" animations have something to do with this, but the cpu takes advantage of it for easy points. I think this might have something to do with setting off ball D to moderate on bigs, but even so...if I give them room, my guy just goes in a trance and leaves him alone?!

Backdoor cuts by the cpu for easy baskets. 3 this game. I play shooter tight/tight in coach settings, but still...

On the positive side, NOT ONE pull up three from the cpu on the break.

My biggest complaints at this point that for me prevent the game from FEELING good and fair -- I don't care about stats nearly as much -- are the following...

            1) Always getting "Very Late" on layup timing when the ENTIRE LAYUP TAKES ONE SECOND OR LESS. This is just crap, and if it stays like this then the dev team needs to put in an option for "Real Player Layup %" or something like that.

            2) The breakdowns my team commits on D almost NEVER happen to the cpu team. When the cpu takes advantage of wonky AI but never commits it itself, that's just cheese.

            3) The cpu off ball offense runs like a machine, guys in and out of cuts and screens; when I call for a pick, there's a 50% chance that my screener takes 5 full seconds to get to me because he's bumped around like crazy.

I want to love this game, and almost do, but I'm running out of patience. I hope tweaking things will eventually lead to real gameplay...

I don't know how but i just had this game. It's my second non-triple digits game post tuning. The third probably overall in 2k17.

Really happy to see those numbers!

What I meant this morning was that the band-aid for the shot meter glitchees was too conservative. Tonight's update will make Very Late releases even more forgiving.

What happened to offline shooting? Numbers are so great right now...while we were expecting high numbers

I played 3 games on All Pro yesterday after update/tuning. Lost 2, won 1, which I'm fine with on the surface. Play 8 min. quarters with 76ers. Starting 5 is Dunn, Murray, Simmons, Durant, Noel. (Started in offseason and wound up with picks 3 and 4 -- Lakers pick went to me, out of top 3 -- Durant amazingly signed with me, and was able to trade picks and players for #1. Just to clarify.)

First game loss to Thunder, fine with that because Rus played like Rus. Totally unstoppable. Won second game easily, felt weird. Third game was up comfortably at half, then things totally fell apart. Here are my complaints.

The CPU still scores on cheap cuts and broken AI D, and often takes advantage of the transition D garbage. It feels CHEAP, and I hate it. Their D NEVER breaks down like that, or maybe once or twice in three games.

Shooting is horrible. My great shooters -- Durant, Hezonja, Murray, etc. -- can't hit open 3's to save their lives, but Simmons hits 3 for 3, 1 for 2, and 2 for 3 in the 3 games. These are WIDE OPEN shots rated B to A, no greens, but given the ratings and openness, just ridiculous. Durant was 1 for 8, and all of those coming off set plays with him open. Stats similar in all 3 games.

On the contrary, the cpu almost NEVER misses open shots or open 3's.

One of the main points is that no matter what the shooting %'s are, they are misleading because I'm taking good shots and missing too often. The logic also seems to soften if i'm down late, and then shots start going in, further warping the %.

It's not satisfying. So my question to the offliners like me is, What are you guys doing, if anything, to adjust to the still-present wonkiness? Are you also seeing bullcrap shooting?

This is exactly what I'm experiencing after the update. I dont know what happened but the game played fine before then. I didn't need to adjust the coach settings or mess around with the poe in game to be effective. Now its back to cpu cheap buckets. More than before. I tried to soft hedge and it just doesn't matter. If the cpu wants to sling the ball to the cutter, he'll be wide open and your help D arrives late.

I used to get fouled often on the drive and that seems to be toned down but now it feels the opposite and the cpu gets those and 1s and contact buckets.

Another thing I noticed was the way defense feels now. Somethings changed. I feel like I'm back on skates and cant stick to the defender like I used to. I used to be able to get the dribbler into a bump animation when I turbo into him, then go back to holding the L trigger for D. Now they just glide past me more. I'm about to play another game but something feels off. Kinda 2K16 feeling.

Nice to see another player lock user.

I've been avoiding the latest update, but seeing all the positives reviews, I'll probably go grab it. Honestly, though, I don't feel the game is going to be where it needs to be, until we get editable POEs (without having to enter a game.) Don't just assume they're patching them back into the game - If you want them, keep asking for them.

I've not tested it yet. What about the latest update? Did it change only late releases?

                                No other impact?
