    ____ happens is fine.

When it occurs at much as it does in 2K? NO BUENO.

NOTE: it happened once. You're the guy OK with seeing the Beckham catch every quarter in Madden talking about "it happened"....

I don't know what that butchered sentence means, but it's literally no difference than every example you have being on a 76ers player. By the way, your Noel dunk got blocked by Lin because you didn't press Left on the shot stick. Completely your fault. Oh, but because I like UK, and Noel played for UK, that doesn't go with your dismissive agenda that you've set this entire thread.

You wait for someone to respond to your silly arguments, then you tell them that "oh, if you're okay with this, then you must be okay with this other thing?" which is completely ridiculous when there is absolutely NO correlation. It's like you're using a flowchart diagram labeled "How to troll message boards".

How many times have you seen Ulis block a shot in this game?

              Tyler Ulis: Shot-Blocker

I still just don't understand how the one block is supposed to be a big deal in the first place. Even if you watch an NBA game odds are pretty hight that at least one of the "little guys" from either team will get a block. So seeing one on 2K once every few games isn't at all unrealistic.

If you were able to block a shot with him every game, or multiple shots in the same game, then maybe you'd have a complaint.

Kyrie and Curry both had a block in game 7, Kyrie had 2 in game 6, Kyrie had one in game 5 Curry had 3... that's all I care to look up because my point is pretty much proven.. two guys who spend 90% of their time out above the key consistently getting blocks, neither player is tall, long, athletic by shot blocking standards, and during the regular season get .3 and .2 blocks per game..

Like we have all said, it happens.

So then the operative question is, do you base their block rating/gameplay on a season's or career's worth of data....or what happened one game in the playoffs?

WHO they blocked matters and the situation as well, did Curry block Delly or JR on a fast break? The issue is it happens too often.

I wont even respond to the Noel/Lin comment...that's a level of silly I haven't seen in some time. And Dakkon? That you think I need "pointers" from you on how to play the game? Funniest thing i've seen on these boards. You got my stomach hurtin' over here.

Complain more about getting blocked because YOU did a back scratcher dunk, when you could have done a left handed dunk, then. Because we all know the perfect one makes no mistakes.

Threads like this help the game in no way whatsoever. The OP clearly doesnt understand how perfect, not average, but PERFECT timing in and of itself can work independently of ratings in certain situations. ****ty shot blocker but timed your block almost perfectly? You should get the block

                      .

Playoff defense is different than regular season defense. Curry and Kyrie are by no means good defenders or shot blockers, I'm sure they both have very low block ratings. My point is, players who aren't good shot blockers can still block shots, which in video game world would mean that players with a lot block rating can still get a block here and there as well.

Who they blocked idk, you can do play tracking and find that yourself. In this case it's irrelevant because the way the player tossed the ball right by Ulis's face it wouldn't really matter if it was me taking the shot or Michael Jordan, an attempt like that is getting blocked.

The problem is OP has yet to prove that this happens too often. Nobody's going to take your word on it until we see more than a couple of videos. You could easily cherrypick to try to make your point. If Ulis doesn't block a shot for the next 70 games then there's no issue. Jeremy Lin had a stretch last season where he blocked 7 shots in 3 games. He finished with 42 on the season (~.5 bpg). You need more than a game or two sample size to have any ground to stand on here...

This is exactly my point. Hell I'm not even disagreeing with the OP and I'm not saying you're not experiencing this but this isn't the experience the rest of us are having so we're saying SHOW US so we can see if it's actually happening or if maybe...just maybe you just think that it's happening too often. There's no way judge from what you've given us and we tend to remember things in highlights, either the really awesome or the really annoying, and it skews our perception of what's happening on average.

No joke. Some ppl don't understand statistics and probabilities. Improbable things can happen.

I'm 6'1, but I've had my jumper blocked by a dude who stands 5'2 IRL. No offense, but I don't get what the OP is really complaining of.
