This. I was a hardcore Live player for 7 years because of the PC mods alone.

Did they fix that bug one of the previous patches? If they did, that means that the bug was likely identified before release but after the game was locked. So that means its possible that their internal testing identified the bug before release.

I assume that to be true.

It could help but I dont think it would change much. I've worked on games with betas and while they can help you identify some bugs, the build people are playing on the beta is typically months older than the current build. Many of the bugs that people are seeing are ones that have already been fixed and identified.

Me and my bro used to get to a point in the game where you were in this warehouse, fight whatever enemies were in there and that was it. Nothing happened. We would travel all the way back to the beginning and back again to trigger whatever was supposed to happen and nada.

Those games also sucked alot more, too. Sim gaming was beyond a pipedream with a game like NBA Live 2000. The good old days are rarely as good as they seem.

Do I like that the game is being fixed?

Sure.

Do I feel that it is embarassing that a game needs it's 4th version + multiple on the fly slider adjustments within less of a month? 100%

Do I feel that people for nearly a month now are being used as free beta testers?

Certainly

I am not expecting the game to be perfect from day 1.

But the game seemed extremely unfinished from the first view.
Even now after patch1.04 we are talking about version 1.05 which is already in process.

Do you really think that this is normal and we should be glad with that?

Yes, I played Live 2000 and 01 on PC and it changed my life. I laughed at console gamers back then. MVP baseball...nuff said about that.

Seems like they only look mainly My team and parks online things when testing. They forget about single player things . ACE is nice but wish they will explain how it works and what each team

I didn't know that.

I'm speaking purely from experience with mobile apps. But that makes sense tho.

1000% agree. I trying to see what was fixed in the patch.. Not see people bicker over how big the patch is, why there is a patch, and other stupid stuff like that

Pre-game, halftime, and stat banners just started working with the last patch,and different commentary teams too, so I wonder what this one fixes? A little fix they did but didn't mention was changing how you change the age of players. Instead of hitting right towards the latest possible date and it overlapping back to 1965, it stops at 1997 now and doesn't overlap. I thought that was a nice quality of life improvement. I wish the load times for signatures were a little better as well. Sim stats need an adjustment too.

Yep. Mobile apps are different because their betas are released directly from the net. With video games, the beta has to be locked and submitted to MS/Sony for approval. That process can take up to a month. By the end of the beta, the beta build is 6 weeks or so old.

Hmmm. Well, that sucks! Thankfully, we never had any problems. Got lucky, I guess. Fun game!

Edit: Sounds like an enemy may have been stuck in a wall or something and it wasn't letting you clear the area.
