Greg Monroe tore his achilles and is out for the season...the GM retooled the roster. Frazier, Cunningham, Diallo and one other player were unhappy so they got rid of them. They traded Evans and two first round picks to a struggling Toronto for Valaciunas...I guess with them being 26 games out from a playoff spot and DeAndre Ayton coming up in the draft and Cousins coming up in FA they are rebuilding. We also acquired Carter-Williams from Chicago for Frazier and picks as well as getting Korver and Clarke from Cleveland and finally signed Tyler Hansbrough to fill out the PF position. First game with AD and JV could be considered a success, AD went for 29 and 18 while JV went for 13 and 15. After struggling for 2 games where I had a combined 10 points, 1 rebounds and 14 assists, I bounced back with a 21, 11, and 11 triple-double.

Being a player-locker since 2k6 I've always been a huge advocate of this game mode. MyGM? Player-lock. MyLeague? Player-lock. Lol I don't play online for this reason, I get too immersed in the seasons I have for my player.

The usual suspects: Allen Iverson/LeBron James/Melo/Dwyane Wade/Shaq(so much fun).

2k9 I had a good one going with my boy Brandon Roy!

But I like where this thread is going with the Create a Player, I think I'll scour through the draft class and find a guy I like and use him on my Miami Heat since they're atrocious this year lol.

Being a player-locker since 2k6 I've always been a huge advocate of this game mode. MyGM? Player-lock. MyLeague? Player-lock. Lol I don't play online for this reason, I get too immersed in the seasons I have for my player.

I've wasted so much time the last few years in MC, and I don't see myself doing that again going forward unless major changes are made to that mode which I doubt will happen.

I wanted a skinny body type for my player so I decided to go with Dialo and make him into a 6'6 PG named Jordan Cooper who's a transcendent athlete and playmaker, but a developing shooter. This is the most fun I've had playing 2K. I can create my own story. No cringe worthy cut scenes. No stat caps based on height. A purely dynamic play that all sim gamers would love. I was drafted 1st overall by the Bucks, and am loving every second of it. Cooper is an 80ovr. As the face of the franchise, I allow myself to influence the GM on which players to sign or trade for. The only thing I miss about mycareer is the teammate grade. For some reason there is satisfaction in seeing recognition for playing well lol. Using custom sliders is also the way to go. The game is completely revamped for me now.

High ankle sprain in the closing minutes of a blowout win vs the Nets, we were up 113-64 at the time and we ended up winning 124-77. My guy will be out 2-4 weeks in the heart of the season...had to sim the next few weeks we went 7-3 during the 10 games I missed which is pretty good

Yep! I've been grinding through my rookie season. My Celtics team and I are 18-13 so far. I think we have a good chance to play in the Eastern Conference Finals but bench depth may be a concern. We don't have a definite starting PG since Isaiah Thomas left. We have Darren Collison, Ramon Sessions, and Marcus Smart. With coach Popovich running things we've had 3 different starting PG's lol. Hopefully we can keep winning and shoot for a high seed in the playoffs.

Finished the season 71-11. Won ROY and Sixth Man. LeBron won MVP again. My guy got hurt in the WCF but we won anyway. I missed the finals and the Cavs beat us 4-2 to take their 2nd consecutive championship. Is there a harder set of HOF sliders anyone can recommend?

Haven't been able to play as much as I want! My four year old little bro refuses to let me get a full game in before he starts crying to play himself lol. This is still the new meta lol. I love this mode.

I created a PG and put him on the Kings. Yes he's overpowered out the box but im having fun. I'm 2-1. HOF difficulty with custom sliders. The Spurs destroyed me in game two. Me and Cousins sre a great duo even though its tough to get him the ball. I commit way too many turnovers. Ill see this season through if I can.

I was playing until I noticed 2K was cheating (more than normal). Whenever I subbed out around the end of the third quarter, my team's points seemed to decrease. With 1:52 left in the third my team had 55 points, and when I subbed back in with 7 minutes left in the fourth we only had 40.

Way to continue to ruin the game 2k...

Simmed the offseason, we let Gay and Monroe walk and ended up with Cousins, Burke, McDermott, resigned Thomas Robinson, MCW, drafted Luca Doncic and Stan Garnett(?) and Buddy Hield, AD and Jrue are still under contract for a few more seasons I can't remember off the top of my head who else is on the team.

I know right. What's funny about signing logic is that Melo and Isaiah Thomas didn't sign with a team until the beginning of the season, I think it was Nov 4th when they got signed.
