Better facescans don't mean nothing when the lighting and skin texture is trash.Comment

Re: First NBA 2K18 Screenshots
Didn't they have only 2 body types in 14 lol?
This normal build
and the slim one lol.
Just for kicks let's compare 2K14s Damian Lillard to his 2K18 counterpart.
14s graphics are so damn overrated man lol.Comment

Re: First NBA 2K18 Screenshots
And if I'm not mistaken, all players looked extremely skinny during interviews in 2k14. I think it was part of a technical issue or something. They quickly solved this problem the following year.
And once again, I'm not sure what point you're trying to make with that comparison.
1. His appearance has changed since then
2. his body has developed more since 2013-14
3. the quality of the two images aren't even close to on par with each other.Last edited by Harrypotheadd; 07-30-2017, 12:43 AM.Comment

Re: First NBA 2K18 Screenshots
Uh oh.....
What was this thread about again?
When Houston announce their new jerseys, you think CP3 will be the player 2K releases or Harden?
Harden is the obvious choice..... but I thought Westbrook would've been the choice for OKC, yet we got PG.....
Speculations anyone?Comment

CP3's body type looks garbage in both games, quite honestly. Not sure what point you're trying to prove with that one

And I don't know of any interview glitch that caused players to be skinny. I mean I literally just posted pictures of Harden, LeBron and Kobe all being interviewed and they all have their normal body type.Comment

Re: First NBA 2K18 Screenshots
Lol 2K14s graphics were so overrated.
The lighting was impressive, I'll give you that. Face scans are much better now, player body types are infinitely better, jerseys fit better, shoes are more detailed, accessories are more detailed, the arenas have more people on the sideline.
You guys love to reminisce about the lighting back then but I remember people complaining that the lighting was overdone.Comment

Re: First NBA 2K18 Screenshots
Lmao I'm sorry but please show me some sort of evidence or pictures of CP3's body "developing" from 2013 until now. That sounds like complete nonsense. At no point in 2013 did CP3 ever look like the 12 year old child that 2K14 depicted him as. That player model was a joke back then and it's a joke now.
And I don't know of any interview glitch that caused players to be skinny. I mean I literally just posted pictures of Harden, LeBron and Kobe all being interviewed and they all have their normal body type.
But back to Lillard, yes it was also pointless of you to try and make a comparison with those two images.... Like I said, the quality of them aren't nearly on par with each other, the angles aren't close at all, and his overall apparence (including body type) has changed since 2013...so like, no matter what point you were trying to prove, you used the two absolute worst pictures to compare
And whether or not it was a technical issue, I am absolutely certain that all players looked skinny during interviews, but better while actually on court. I know for a fact that Shaq didn't have either of the "two" body types you presentedLast edited by Harrypotheadd; 07-30-2017, 04:09 AM.Comment

Re: First NBA 2K18 Screenshots
Of course 2k14 is going to lack in certain visual aspects, compared to 2k17/18...Especially considering, Scanning technology hadn't even been introduced yet.
Whole point I'm trying to make is that, the game would look wayyy better now if they would have never gotten rid of 2k14's graphics engine.
All the scans of stuff we have today, would look 10x better under that particular lighting/shading systemComment

Although 2k can also one up Live by showing Harden as well.

Re: First NBA 2K18 Screenshots
Is that you Rob Parker lol?
I agree though. 2K17 body types were trash including the one your MyPlayer received. We knew they was trash once they started releasing screens last year. Glad to see they are improved this year.
