I wonder why 2K can't release super HQ version of the screenshots. Instead we get these grainy, poorly compress pictures from all over social media.

Still think there's something off with the skin tones. Not sure why they can't quite get that rightComment

Re: First NBA 2K18 Screenshots
2k18 appears top be moving back in the right direction graphically but no question to me that 2k17 was a steel backwards.

Re: First NBA 2K18 Screenshots
I thought Kyrie's face scan looked great in 2k17... til I saw 2k18 Kyrie. Now all I keep thinking when I see 2k17 Kyrie is "puffy-faced"... perspective is a mutha...

Re: First NBA 2K18 Screenshots
Speaking of perspective. Since i am fairly impressed with the 2k18 pre-release screenshots more so than i have been in the past, i wanted to check out what the 2k17 pre-release screenshots looked like, for a bit of perspective.
So here are some of the 2k17 screenshots that were getting around on the net before that game came out:
Spoiler
So there you go. Perspective.
Some looked great. Some looked mediocre. But we all know how it ended up looking in the game.Comment

Someone should try to recreate these shots in 2k17 and do a side by side comparison to see if those pre release screens were doctored in any way. Because honestly those 2k18 screens and footage has been the best 2k has ever looked. Hope there is no trickery or bamboozling going on.Comment

Re: First NBA 2K18 Screenshots
I think it's important to remember that the 2k18 screens will have been rendered at a very high quality. It wont be as clean in reality (unless they release it in 4k?). But i'm really happy with the 2k18 skins and lighting relative to 2k17. Quite life-likeComment
