I am aware at what it takes to update these things, and I have done so in the past. However the art team may have already finished working on the jerseys and have moved onto something else so these criticisms might be ignored.
I gotcha man. Had a feeling you were a modder and I mean no disrespect to your talents and credentials. Im just airing on the side of we don't know what goes on in the 2k office (programs and software they work with, deadlines and time management, etc) so it's unfair to assume mistake they make are easily fixable. Who knows though you could be right.

On the lines of that topic though I would like to see more art fixes and patches throughout the season when necessary, whether it's hairstyles, facial hair, jersey colors, court inaccuracies, etc. I'd love if certain players could have multiple options for hair and facial hair based on past styles. Curry, for example, sometimes grows his hair out a bit more like a blow out other times it's a short fade. Another example from the past is where Ben Wallace would have a fro and cornrolls (I'm pretty sure this was in 2k at one point).

Love the way the game looks. I'm not usually someone who's as focused on the graphics but watching that, it was very hard to ignore how much hard work has gone into improving how the players react and even some of the smaller details that are going on. Just off of graphics and changes alone it'll feel like a fun and fresh game again. Looking forward to seeing what's to come in the coming weeks as well and getting a chance to check out the Prelude.

Beyond that I don't know how you can really comment on which accessory colors are wrong at this point because we don't know what accessories teams are going to be wearing with these new uniforms now since they haven't played a single game in them yet. Have the Pelicans even revealed their Nike uniforms yet? Let's at least see what colors teams will be wearing before we start going into detail about what gear is wrong. Weren't the Pels wearing white headbands with those very jerseys at one point last year?

That is true, accessory colours obviously aren't a major flaw currently as they will change. From the looks of things the Pelicans and Mavericks haven't changed their jerseys so I am basing the accessory colours as of last year. But even then the accessory colours are incorrect based off of last year. I guess what I really should be saying is it looks like the accessory colours are based off of last years colour template (incorrect colours), but now that the art team has got a proper colour template from Nike they can update those accessory colours in the roster (which is where that data is stored).

Shoutout to all of us guys who've been playing b-ball games for 30+ years (either on the Atari or NES). We've came a long way, gentleman. I mean, we have stretch marks now. If you would have told my 10-year-old self in 1990 that we would have came this far I would not have believed you.

              Most of those look Amazing!

I'm hoping we can edit players hairstyles (couldn't in 2K16) on our games.
Like Smart's hair and Curry has his playoff look, but usually has his hair shorter than in that video. Or is someone cuts or grows an afro, we should be able to edit it on our game/myleague.

Also, I know the Cavs color is off, but I really don't care for their jerseys normally since they switched after the 2009-2010 season, but I actually like the dark Red look in the video.

This should be the post to show how picky everyone is. HUGE thumbs up.

                    (A) Uniform jersey physics are appropriately back, and I'm loving it!

Regarding uniform. I'm glad real uniform physics is actually back and is looking great for for NBA2k18, and should stay forever. Even uniform that are supposedly skin tight do have movement. A player may wear it skin tight, but there's still motion to them.

Melo and Curry do wear their jerseys tighter, but upon visual inspection, their jerseys are free flowing with physics so to speak.

                    2016-2017 Melo

                    (B) Lighting play a factor in color replication

I think you've (and a couple individuals) have already discussed about the lighting causing color discrepancies. According to only this photo alone, the colors for the cavaliers look to be appropriate.

It's really not being overly picky. It's more, 2k has stated in this video in fact, that their goal is 100 percent true to life accuracy and photo realism. If some font sizes on jerseys are off or too low on the jersey, or if colors are off in jerseys or accesories then that means that the art is not 100 percent true to life accuracy and photo realism. It's really really close but it's not hitting the 100 percent true to life accuracy and photo realism that 2k is shooting for. Don't blame us for pointing out these inaccuracies when 2k released a video stating the bar they were setting. Also 2kdevs frequent these forums and I'm sure they see these posts. How is pointing out these inaccuracies any different then other posters pointing out flaws in gameplay?

You do know that every 2k from 2k15-17 had this feature? And that's what I used to customize my my player. Either way, I'm positive you'll be able to create a unique player, you're overreacting

The different body types better apply to created players as well. Now I can finally create draft classes with different body types. I like what I saw from the new cap system as well, hopefully its deep enough to go through years of franchise without having too many look-alikes.

Robin Lopez still also has that weird landing strip beard instead of a full one as well for some reason as he's had a full beard for the last 2 years. LaVine still doesn't have a goatee and looks like a kid. Conley still has a mohawk even though he rocked the fro all last year.
Winslow's hair is still the electric socket fro from 2k16(whatever De'Arron Fox/Josh Jackson hair looks like, Winslow needs to share it). We also know Kawhi still doesn't have a beard from the gameplay impressions day snippet.

Like I said in another thread, some of this is from older builds though so hard to know for sure if they've updated dudes since, for example:

That's the Ben McLemore from 2k17 on the left but the screen we got the other day clearly showed an updated version of him.

Good eyes, I noticed because of the beard. I don't think their done scanning everyone in, Ronnie said they would fix Conley's hair.

Oh absolutely. I was more referring to the amount hanging over the waistband than anything else. It's not a huge deal, and it looks considerably better already this year. But it would be nice to see more variety in uniform fit between players. Of course, I also don't know how much work would need to go into that, and what kind of resources it would take.
