Best looking 2K by far. I'm impressed with everything. 2K has brought it this year and they are not playing. Happy to see all the effort and dedication to their brand.

Re: NBA 2K18 Video - Developer Diary: The Art Behind the Game
I'm still concerned about cankles (Anthony Davis, Demarcus Cousins, etc.)
Yes, the gif is blurry. A certain percentage of individuals will say you can't really make out much and yes, to a certain extent you're right, but one can still get an approximation of something. Higher definition will give us a more definitive conclusion.
But even so, here will be my first "concern/negative-ish" post in this particular thread. Even though the gif is blurry, I have a feeling that not all ankle/cankles have been addressed.
I'm concerned about Anthony Davis' and Demarcus Cousin's lower legs. It appears longer legs may still need to be revisited either before the game releases, or just for 2k's next iteration. As far as Durant's legs are concerned, it certainly looks better but we may need to see more of it in action. I know Lebron's lower legs looks better though.
We'll get a definitive answer once the game drops, unless 2k decides to release up to date leg shots (as well as wingspan) for tall big men.
I'm ready for responses that says you're nitpicking, and there's no way to really tell, and different non-approving emoticons. That's also fine. I simply just wanted to get this out there if in fact 2k's art team can truly take a closer look.
I'm simply ready for 2k18.

I got a glimpse of what I think was the same Lavine - and it's not a scan I don't believe. His face was way off in 2K17 from memory. Is he wearing 8 for Chicago this season? If I'm mistaken, someone please correct me.
Same Giannis face aswell was a little disappointing. BUT I am confident his body will be at least a thousand times better than 2K17s officially
The pic below of Bron was easily my favorite shot from the vid. He looks incredible. I literally cannot find a complaint from this shot personally.
If there have been plenty of signature touch ups and the game moves as good as it's looking right now..... not a bad start at all.Attached FilesComment

Body types, details, accessories, faces, jersey fits, colours...... yep. It's the best graphical 2K ever IMO.Comment

Re: NBA 2K18 Video - Developer Diary: The Art Behind the Game
I don't think that CAPS will ever look great standing next to the player whos face and bodies 2K scanned. However, these CAP faces look much better and more human than anything we've seen since 2K14. That coupled with the body type changes should make for a more realistic ML experience say, 10 years in. I'd take more cartoonish (I get what you're saying, it's like when you imported players from College Hoops in 2K8) looking players that look human over what we've had, easily. The last few years all CAPS had this caveman thing to me. These faces look really good. I think of it like this, would a league full of CAP players look and feel as vibrant and unique as the current league.Comment

Re: NBA 2K18 Video - Developer Diary: The Art Behind the Game
Can someone (Da Czar maybe?) confirm that the Steph and KD screen is from a more recent more final build? Because that pic and the LeBron screengrab from the video, don't even look like they are from the same game as the screengrab of KD from the video with the away jersey on. Obviously the trailer consists of different builds (Ben Mclamore has two distinctly different player models) so some confirmation to ease fears would be appreciated.Comment

My guess is that because Giannis goes back to see his family during the offseason that it is hard to get him in to 2k studios to scan his face, cos scheduleComment

I want to see the player model for Alexis Ajinca. Big stars get the treatment but I want to see the lesser known players.
Let's not forget this guy.....2k never updated him lol
Let's see how well 2k did this year with the rest of the squads that are not starters.Comment

But i'd rather have over-the-top flowing jerseys than stiff jerseys like in 2k17Comment
