Creating this classic team was like that moment in Jurassic Park where Jeff Goldblum's all like, "You were so preoccupied with whether or not you could, you didn't stop to think if you should."
There's no reason to make this team other than the fact that I could so I give you, the 1995-96 Toronto Raptors.
And oh yes, they're bad. But Jimmy King's NBA prime deserved some love, so here we are.Last edited by VDusen04; 01-24-2020, 04:27 PM.Comment

Still doesn't feel real. Playing with the Lakers feels emotional now.

Been WRECKING teams with Kobe for the last couple of days. Never gave the guy enough due respect for his career - one of the greatest to ever lace 'em up.Attached Files-----------------------------------------

Yeah, I hear you on that. I'm playing exclusively with the 98 Lakers at the moment, gathering footage for a small tribute I'd like to make (clichéd, I know) The sadness has been quite overwhelming.-----------------------------------------

I wish 2k would fix Shaq.. It's painful to see him not look like the biggest man alive in game, he needs more mass.Comment

I've been running a lot of Lakers on 2k14. In my opinion they had the best version of him. Looks So much like him it's scary almost.

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
I really wish 2K could add some old fashioned body language and mannerisms to classic players or at least have an option as an animation package in the player edit screen. I honestly think this feature should have been included since 2K12.
It's really odd to see James Worthy chest bumping players to salute them or watching Jeff Hornacek entering the court with swag and nodding his head as in saying "Oh yeah!", or Terry Cummings hyping the crowd after scoring an and 1 (he's a super low key person, almost stoic).
Back in the day, there were only a few players that displayed the brand of mannerism seen today. Chuck Person is a great example of someone who really got hyped and displayed the array of moves in this department whenever he made big shots, Dominique too (but to a lesser extent). Tim Hardaway was similar in this regard.
Reggie Miller was a showman when celebrating and in player introductions, but more in the Michael Jackson kind of way. Mark Jackson had his own funky celebration style too, especially after making a great assist, that has nothing to do with what is seen in todays game...And how about the old 3-pointer made celebration: just both arms raised and no 3 fingers.
Other players, depending on the context and/or opponent didn't even shake hands at the beginning or end of the game (Bird or Laimbeer for example). Low fives and players bumping their hands to their chests? Non-existent.
How about players having a laugh or chatting with each other (teammates and opponent who are not sworn enemies)? Or even players greeting the opposition coaches or assistants at the end of the game (again, given they are not sworn enemies).
I know it's a minor thing, but really with all the animations 2K are capable of developing, how difficult it is to add old-fashioned handshakes at tip-off and end of the game, embraces, pats on the back or a simple low fist bump at tip-off?Last edited by aloncho11; 02-02-2020, 11:34 AM.Only respectable people deserve respect, you destroyed the game.Comment
