I agree it's off-putting, it's one of the first things I noticed and not in a good way.

I posted that in the bugs and glitches thread a while back. Hopefully, like everything else we're waiting on, I hope it gets fixed.Comment

LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
I’m not sure if anybody else went as far as submitting a support ticket with 2K to solve the dunk signature issue… But they legitimately responded to me with “have you tried turning the game off and turning it back on”…

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
Thanks for the feedback, fellas. Much appreciated.
I'd say all things considered, I'm an 80's,90's to mid 2000's guy, so am more than happy to stick with 2k23 if there hasn't been any drastic improvement to the core gameplay itself.
I freely admit I never even ventured past the 3rd Jordan challenge, so no doubt won't really put much time into Kobe's, as great as both respective modes seemed. I was just more interested in Eras. As mentioned, I wouldn't touch Lebron's era and never play in the modern era so the proplay etc means little to me.
Add to that the back breaking amount of time I spend editing the game every year, I'd say I've invested too much into 2k23 to move on.
Thanks again for the thoughts.-----------------------------------------

You know what’s worse than giving that type of response? The person that gave it actually gets paid to give that type of response.

So the real deal breaker is that by all accounts 2K24 looks worse graphically. Even its most ardent supporters (of its gameplay etc) seem to unanimously admit that the graphics and lighting are a step back and disappointing. I mean the courts are MATTE ffs.
I won’t even use proplay much since I don’t play as many modern players. But for me to invest all this time into a game that is by most accounts WORSE to look at is simply a no deal. Not to mention the court edit bugs are also deal breakers since I rely on that.Comment

I would’ve been really upset if I wasn’t so astonished that I was laughing my *** off…

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
I wanted to piggyback what you are feeling and add my two cents disappointment with 2k24 game. I’m also a classic diehard and a few years older than you, so I spend most of my time and efforts in 70-90 rosters edits, so I purchased 2k24 thinking it’s going to have more to bring. Going through 2k24 classic teams I’m feeling like it’s recycled all over again. I don’t have the energy to go through the grind again like I first thought and agree totally with you. I keep going back to 2k23 because of what I’ve put into it. Hope you check in on occasion I still get inspired by those that started roster creation way back when
I'm editing the 2003 era alongside this, so hopefully I can start rolling with the Lakers and Wizards in that time frame, soon.
2K23 has enough to keep me going for years, unless something major happens in the next few game cycles.-----------------------------------------

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
Question about eras:
So I'm using my own custom roster in 91/92 and decided I wanted to save a fully customized 93,95,96,97 & 98 starting point, so i could dip in and out anytime I wanted.
So I simmed through 92, got the Bulls the chip and headed into 93. Started all the relevant trades and signings etc and then noticed players badges, tendencies and hot zones were all different.......
I have player progression off, yet on starting the 93 season, players were missing badges and their tendencies had changed - this screwing up lord knows how many hours of work over the last year I put in to get players doing what they should, within reason.
Anyone else had this, or is this an actual 'thing'? I was under the impression players would only progress or get worse with 'progression' set to 'on'.-----------------------------------------

Some solid legend updates, shown at the 1:21 mark. I appreciate their attention to detail with caring enough to add the NBA logo to the Nuggets jerseys, correct the Sixers jerseys, semi-normal Chris Andersen, etc.

Now if we can just get those create-a-court glitches fixed...Comment
