This is more of a Mike Wang question I believe

I have a different feeling about this game based on everything we've read and the responses from Czar, Mike and OG. That it's shaping up to being a great and much improved one from last year.

Even this time last year, you could kind've see that there was some funny stuff going on based on what we read and lack of communication/info we received, even as release got closer. That doesn't seem to be the case this year and that has me very optimistic. [emoji1490]

Now, I just need that Audio/Presentation Blog to drop so I can read about the improvements there and I'll be set

I would like that blog, too. I really, really want that crowd audio to be better. It was so bad last year and, with how great the rest of the game is looking, to have that be the weakest link will be disappointing.

2K has (seemingly) addressed a large swath of the community's concerns with this iteration, I'm hoping crowd noise and arena atmosphere has been improved in some way, too.
          Any comments are welcome.

            Czar,

So playing in the PnR sometimes seems to feel the same with any PG. most users abuse Turbo to get that speed difference. That's not how guys like Steve Nash worked in his prime Phoenix days. Will 2K ever be able to replicate his style of play in the PnR vs other naturally fast guys without having to abuse Turbo to do so?

Yeah I saw an example of John Wall in one of the shaky cam vids that showed that off. Downhill will more of a thing now.

Will teams be running their own offense this year Czar ?
Like in 17 Spurs would be running 4-1 almost everytime I played them.

                Was this asked/answered previously ?

I'm just trying to do what I truly believe any of us from the OS glory days would have done had you had the opportunity. Man that drives me everyday. No days off because I am trying to build THAT game that we always wanted to play.

                  Much love Czar.

in the post Zach did a TON of work on allowing you guys to pump fake and then use the stick to pivot to 8 different locations he calls hubs and then he has shots out of each of those hubs, as well as fakes.

He really should have made a video on this because the system is really done well. Your going to see some nice stuff from users who take the time to master it.

As with everything there is still room for improvement but for a single dev cycle he put a tremendous amount of work into this. definitely worth the time to try it out.

that's the sickness man. it was never very rewarding getting awkward or repetitive shots out of up and unders, so i'm glad that we can now decide on what we want according to the angle we end up with off of a bite.

                      Zach Timms

Post game. Many upgrades this yr. Can choose your pivot facing while holding ball. Can dominate mismatches way better than last yr #NBA2K18

Shot fakes, up & under redone. Once u fake, u have 5 directions to choose from to shoot after fake, and you can chain. Very useful #NBA2K18

If Czar is still around, I saw something at the 8:25 minute mark of the Bulls vs Pistons vid which had me curious.

Jordan posts up (but not in a set play). Brian just decides to try a post up in freelance.

Then he (possibly accidentally) gets Rodman over for a pick (which eventually goes away).

But then, AI Rodman comes over and stands next to MJ whilst he's still trying to post up.

Ideally I'd have liked to have seen the AI sort of "clear out" when you do a post up (similar to that of a manual PnR).

Keen to hear your thoughts on this - thanks in advance Czar.

I saw that aswell. Im only guessing here, but the classic teams don't have the same branching AI current teams do. Rodman probably went back to his spot in the 3-2 or triangle offense. I would manually called for a quick iso in that situation.

Yeah I thought of this aswell - calling a quick iso is a quick and easy fix also.

Just curious about what Czar's feedback is on it. I feel like it has been an issue in previous 2K games, but not an issue in others (unsure which, specifically).

                                2k18 fixes

Bigs can cover to much ground on defense(they are too fast)

Late contest on laups matter too much.

                                Random blocks doing pumpfakes.

Leaning shots for guys who have catch and shoot badge should be removed.
