Back in like 2k11 or so we used to be able to choose bodytype shapes (i.e. skinny, average, muscular, thick fat, etc). I used to love making fictional draft classes with that in play. I've been waiting very patiently for that to return. Gotta wait another year.

Re: New CAP system
Now I'm sure this would be difficult, but probably not as difficult as bringing sculpting back
1. They need to find a way to unlock each skin tone and make them all available
2. They need to break down all 30 presets and add every single facial feature to each slider...This would bring up the totals from 20-30 options per slider, to at least 100 per slider (which would ultimately give us way more of a variety of features when putting together faces)
3. Give us a slider with about 5-10 different profile head shapes, and turn all of the cheek & cheekbone presets, into sliders of their own.
Problem solved.Last edited by flexbrook0; 09-14-2017, 07:02 AM.Comment

Re: New CAP system
Im just disappointed in 2k for this CAP downgrade, really not what we was asking for. I hope they can do something to fix this via patch this year...dont think I can wait till 2k19 for a better cap. Adding more options with the facial features, making them actually look like something is changing would be better. We know head sculpting would be ideal but I doubt it happensComment

The eye slider should at minimum move eyes inward or outward for example. Eyes are a strong feature, and the fact their position don't really change when adjusted makes players look alike.
Also the skin tones for every preset too.

Re: New CAP system
Now that the lackluster CAP system has been confirmed, I'm really glad that I didn't pre-order the game. Hopefully 2K is still paying attention to this thread, because if they don't patch CAPs, MyLeague and MyGM are going to be dead this year.Comment

Re: New CAP system
What made them think this was a good idea? Like honestly? Graphics have improved which is good, but to remove sculpting, features, diverse facial hairs, etc.?? What the actual f**k.
And we still have to use those stupid nicknames whenever we're creating a player? My Reggie Miller won't look anything like Reggie Miller AND i have to give him a nickname like Shake-And-Bake?!?!
Come on man.....
This alone takes away like 90% of my excitement for this gameComment

With that said I'm still really hoping that they can patch in something. Obviously, I want full sculpting back but I'll settle for more pre-made faces, skin tone changes for each pre-made face, facial sliders making a bigger impact, and more facial hair options. I feel like that isn't asking too much.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: New CAP system
looks like going to pc might be the best option for some this yr. If you guys think we don't understand why they did this. imagine the 2k employees who work on this game who think the same. This is not good for 2k."Never say never, because limits are like fears and they are often just an illusion."-M.J.Comment
