Has anyone in MyGm sided with Sanderson and relocated to Seattle? Are the courts and jerseys still classic jerseys with the short shorts? If it still is are there any way to edit them?

Also, I won't be making any trades and the free agent signings will just be veteran bottom tier guys (no higher than 73).

I want be build totally through the draft.

Probably the Hawks. They have Schroder but I'm not sure he will ever become a real leader on a NBA team Other than that they have a pretty old squad.

The Bulls would be my second choice however they have some pieces such as Portis and Lavine.

I choose the Hornets at first but Malik Monk and Dwayne Bacon turn out too good.

Interesting. In MyGm you can't start with an expansion team. In fact, I think the only way to get an expansion team is if the owners vote for it in the league meetings.

I'm wondering, if I resign after the first year of MyGm... would I be able to create an expansion team then?

I lacked PG depth after Rozier and Larkin went out, and I got more 3 point shooting for a mid to late 20’s pick and a guy who hasn’t cracked my rotation, but could prove valuable to a rebuilding team like the Mavs. Constructive feedback is welcome though as I feel lacking in trade creativity

How do I go about relocating in myGM? How do you get it approved? Did it take you multiple tries? Thanks for any help or tips.

Just look online for user created draft classes. There are some good ones that will save you from having to edit for hours.

                Just try searching "fictional"

It helps if you are in year 2 or 3. You need revenue to build your facilities. I bought the first few levels for the luxury boxes and it boosted my facilities to 2.8 stars out of 10. Doesn’t seem like much but it passed overwhelmingly. That’s the key I think.

Re: Official NBA 2k18 MyLeague/MyGm Thread

Is it better or more enjoyable to play my gm or my league this year?

If choosing mygm what exactly must be done to prevent your team from moving.

I’ve always done my gm, my league just offers you more control of the rules/salaries etc correct? I just like to hit go and play, allowing the cpu to adjust yearly inflation.I only care to manage my team and my team only.I deal with the rest as it plays out.

I'm playing MyGM and just entered the 2nd offseason. The FA pool is STACKED - unrealistically so, to the extent it ruins the whole mode for me. I shouldn't be able to sign Klay, Irving, Whiteside, Bledsoe, George (who accepted a 1-year deal the year prior), and many other guys over 80 rating in their primes.

That is an unrealistic, and game-ruining, FA class.

My question: How do you stop this from happening? If you crank up the setting about resigning your own players to 100, does that fix it?

                        Thanks.

I like cutscenes and being able to set ticket prices and upgrading your gm but the problem is you can control things like you can in MYLEAGUE like how good the drafts are for example and it sounds like you are forced into trading a player or something if I understand right.

Is anyone able to help steer me the right direction. I see a lot of people mention 32 team control.I’ve never done it but in doing so can the teams that you’d consider still to be CPU will they engage in trades on their own? Also am I going to be continuously notified of every injury and need to update depth or trade proposal?I wouldn’t mind controlling all 32 from the simple standpoint of free agency both in targets and retaining players as well as a few trades along the way that seem to make sense for each team.

I’ve always done MYGM, seem MYleague is the better option his year from my reading. I’d love to have more control but not continusouly have to hit no or rebuild.Still want the CPU teams to operate as if they were the CPU.I don’t care how they set their rotations, or who they sign to fill out the roster.

                              Tips/ideas?
