I am doing a Lakers MyLeague. I had 14 players at the trade deadline so I decided to sign a free agent. I signed Diamond Stone who was a 21-22 yea old and was a 71-72 overall. Fast forward to the end of the year and now I'm at the start of the playoffs. This is the first time I've checked the roster since signing Stone. For some reason he's now 86 overall with an A- potential (I don't know what his potential wasn't before). I've had players go up like 2-3 overall during the season but nothing like this in my history of 2k from 2k13. My question is, is this a game feature or a glitch because I'm debating whether or not it's fair to use him. Please help me out, thanks!

I have a player on a 2 way contract currently in the g-league. I need him on my active roster to help with an injury.How do I promote him for a period?He should be allowed 45 days.

Im having a hard time playing with the celtics as it is my favorite team and as im having fun using kyrie, im very much attached with each of the players and cannot make any moves or trades to make the team better do you usually play with your fave team in 2k?

Aside from celtics, i am thinking of starting a myleague with the pelicans or clippers. Thoughts?

I think you should go with whatever team fits your play style. I usually always at least attempt to play with my favorite team though.

Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. I've always been a fan of Dragic's addition to the Miami Heat but up until this 2k I could never play well with him. Go with the team you produce the best with unless it feels too weird playing a season with another team.

Is it safe to start a GM mode yet? Have they patched up all of the contract bugs that have plagued the mode since release? I've been following along with this thread and it sounds like they're getting close.

You should be able to press A on the player and there will be the option “Call Up from G League

Yeah it's not there. I have 2 2 ways and 2 roster players in G league. Can call rostered players back but not 2 ways.

Well, in my first year of MyGM with the Nets I somehow made the playoffs. I play one game, and then sim 8, for about 9 played games a year. I did quite a bit of roster adjustment, but I tried to avoid making the playoffs, but for some reason in simulation I did good. I face off with the Celtics.

Also, how do I make it so my team does not move to Seattle? Is that a decision after the playoffs. I hate this storyline, FWIW. Good idea, terrible execution. Anyway, here is my roster

PG Dianglo Russell/Jeremy Lin
SG Allen Crabbe/Nik Stauskas (Butter on offense, couldn't guard a parked car)
SF Caris Levert/Rondae Hollis Jefferson (I start him if the other team has a good SF, so he will be starting in the playoffs)
PF Trevor Booker/ Jarrett Allen/ Jarrod Uthoff
C - Montrez Harrell (So so so stupid that the game overrides your decision and trades for him anyone. Ridiculous.)/Dwayne Dedmond (Couldn't hit water if he was on a floating boat)

Yeah it's not there. I have 2 2 ways and 2 roster players in G league. Can call rostered players back but not 2 ways.

Check the service time in the corner. If for some reason they have 0 days left but they haven’t been active, just change it back to 45. That is strange thought that it’s not showing up

Hey what's up guys just wondering if players develop and gain badges in my league online, because there is no training or anything for my league online

You can't, this is how teams draft busts. That's why you got former GM's like Ferry who was excellent at signing FA's but terrible at drafting.

I guess that does make sense, but the description for most systems in the game are so lacking. I LOVE to sim to this is an area I particularly want to get better at

Anyway, I have a few more questions if anyone can help.

When you relocate in MyGM is it possible to download prebuilt uniform designs like the Sonics? I didn't look into this too much but I didn't see an option in game.

Can your players earn or develop new badges while you sim? Or does that only happen when you play games?

what's up with injurys after all those updates?
when the game came out...players were getting injured regurarly (on normal scale)...after bunch of crybaby's cry to 2k...after updated i didn't get a single one injury in 30 games (with 10min quarters)....that is real f**** up...i wanna play real simulation with injuries

Ahh man when I simmed a season early on in MyGM the owner wanted Vince Carter but in my actual GM that I'm playing thru the owner wants Derrick Rose. This is the original owner, I know the new owners son pushes a trade thru before the trade deadline but what happens if I don't complete the trade for my original owner?
