I think it’s under league history in the stats or awards menu option. It’s one of those. Rules changes will be one of the options you can choose so just select whichever rule you want to change back to normal and there you go.

Hey guys I have a question and I'm not sure if it has been answered already so if it has forgive me.

I'm currently in 2050 of MyLeague. I'm not sure exactly why its happening but the number 1 draft pick is going to the team with the best record, and the team with the worst record is getting the 30th pick.

I'm guessing I accepted a rule change I wasnt paying attention too. Has anyone came across a rule change like this?

Does anyone know of a way to change it back to normal or do I just gotta keep my eye out for that rule and change it back during the off season?

Quick question, hoping to get a quick answer since I'm right in the middle of a draft.

When you're looking at scouted players, you'll get different "grades" when looking at the player card vs. looking at the "aggregates" tab in the prospect scouting. What is the difference? I'm assuming one is what your scouts think, and the other is the general consensus? So you have to decide how much you trust your scouts? Is the player card information coming from your own scouts then?

I'm probably late to the party with this.

My League. 6 years in and 26 teams in the league are waaaay over the cap.

16 teams are $20+ mil over the cap. 11 of those teams are $30+ mil over.

Is there any way to normalize this other than just turning the cap off?

In MyLeague, is it possible to switch user controlled teams?

I would like to be able to win a championship with a team and then switch my user controlled team to another team for a new challenge.

Yeah just go to the automation settings option and where it says all user teams select the team or teams you would like to control. From there you can automate whatever settings you like for that specific team that’s being controlled

Is there a way to start in the offseason with updates ratings?

Has anyone noticed gameplay lag a little after completing one season? And is there a way to fix that? (I had this issue with 2k17 too)

I noticed something weird in myleague. Before starting a new season, I go to fill my remaining roster spots with league minimum contracts. I go to the position I need, sort by how well they fit my coach's system, and sign what is usually a low to mid seventies overall rated player. Then I look at my roster and see that the player I signed is rated in the high eighties or low nineties, looks like all their individual ratings go up significantly as well. I have seen this happen about five or six times now. At first I thought this was a cool way of showing a player being more effective playing in a certain system, but after happening several more times and seeing one player get bumped to a 91 overall, it is getting ridiculous. Most of the time I sign a player this does not happen. I will probably just edit the ratings of the players this happens to back down to what they were originally. My team is good as it is, I don't want the extra help. I have not noticed this happening on cpu teams. Has anyone else seen this?

I’ve simmed many myleague files and after the first 2-3 seasons this becomes common where 1 or 2 players can average around 25 but the rest are closer to 23. I decided to post after seeing James harden average 23 as the scoring leader in the league.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so how’d you fix it

Here is what I did to fix this. Go through each team's roster and use quick edit to raise the shooting tendency of any high rated player or elite scorer you see. I give guys like Curry and Harden the highest shot tendency (in the 90's). I also lower shoot tendency for some of the other players if they seem unusually high. If a player is weak offensively or listed as a rebounding or defensive specialist, I lower their shot tendency to a 30 or 40. It is not an exact science, just raise the tendency for the best scorers and lower it for a few other guys on their teams. I find myself doing this about every three seasons. It takes less than 30 minutes to do, well worth it in my opinion.

I am controlling one team in the east and one team in the west in MyLeague.

In the West I am playing as the kings but I swapped zach randolph for chris webber.

In the east I'm playing as the knicks but I swapped joakim noah with amare stoudemire and traded kristaps porzingis for gordon hayward.

The Kings made the 6 seed but got swept by the Thunder. The Knicks were the 1 seed and swept Miami in the first round.

I play 5 min (12 sim) with normalize stats and i only play game 1 of a playoff series and game 7 of a playoff series.

Having a blast with my Baltimore Barons myleague.

Inaugural year and we sit 7-15, but we have won our last two and I think we can turn it around. Fired the coach after a 5-15 start (more on that below)

Long read ahead:

Spoiler

Used start today after the Cleveland trade. Simmed first season

Set up expansion with Baltimore and the Seattle Supersonics. During the offseason I user controlled a handful of teams and forced a few trades.

The teams I know for sure I controlled for the first part of the offseason were:
Baltimore (obviously)
Washington
Seattle
LAL
Indiana
With each team I tried to put myself in their shoes so to speak, so hopefully the moves make sense.

Decided Seattle would pursue LeBron and Paul.
Lakers would target LeBron and Chris Paul
Indiana was going after Durant and Cousins
Baltimore wanted Cousins.

So with for the expansion draft with Seattle I just wanted a small a payroll as possible, so took a lot of guys with upcoming team options. Baltimore wanted good value guys (few and far between).

As always I created a group of fictional players for a undoubtedly OP draft lol:
SF/PF D. Austin -- 83 ovr. Shot needs A LOT of work, but good finisher and superb defender that can play point forward. Kinda like Ben Simmons

SF B. McGee -- 81 ovr, pure scorer. Kinda like a Kobe clone. defense not good, jump shot okay, but can post up smaller guys and beat larger guys off the dribble.

SG K. Williams 78 ovr. D. Wade clone? Absolute nasty crossovers, fast as Wall, sadly with a shot like Wall. But he is a scorer not a passer.

PF/C D. Clark 78 ovr. Kinda old school post scoring 4. Enough of a shot to make you think he can develop as a stretch 4, but definitely not there yet. Decent defense and shotblocking.

Forced some trades to ensure expansion teams went one and two (literally flipped a coin to determine it).

Seattle won the coin flip. I thought to myself if they want LeBron and Paul, they need a inside presence, so went with Clark.

With number 2 Baltimore picked McGee. Felt like if you are building a team, you start with the scorer.

Washington got pick 3 because I traded Otto and future picks. They picked D. Austin. Yeah he is a defensive leader to help Beal and Wall, but he also just happened to be drafted by Wizards in 2k17, and that led to an awesome rivalry so I wanted to do that again. So good pick, but he was ending up on Washington no matter what lol

Surprisingly Williams lasted until going @8 to the Hornets.

Free agency (for each team going after the studs I offered max deals and let the pieces fall where they may):

Oh boy did I miscalculate with Seattle lol. LeBron wasn't interested, and Chris wasn't having it either. Durant? Forget about it. I was only able to land them Isiah Thomas. My bad emerald city.

Lakers won FA by signing LeBron and Chris. I then made a trade to get CJ McCollum.

Indiana lost FA. They couldn't get anyone. Durant reupped with GSW. Ended up fetching the prize that is an aged Carmelo.

Baltimore landed Cousins and JJ Reddick. Or was JJ acquired via draft? Can't remember.
Paul George reupped with OKC. As did Capela with Houston (Pacers made a play for him, he spurned them)

Quick note on expansion teams: During offseason no coach worth a damn is willing to sign. Both teams had to settle for guys like a C offense, F defense. But once you start the season? Sign whoever you want. Odd

Anyway, Baltimore Barons inaugural roster:

I felt like I put together a damn good expansion team, but you guys, coaches sure as hell matter in this game. With my D rated coach my players were like brain dead. My god it was horrible. Replaced him with an A potential coach with B- and C+ ratings and the difference is definitely noticeable, I actually force a few turnovers now! Team overall went from 81 to 87 after the coaching change.

Previous coach ran a Pace offense, and I don't think it was a good fit. New coach runs the triangle, and though I had to spend time in scrimmage to get the feel of it, it definitely benefits Cousins. Both games he put up 30, and one of those was a tough matchup against Drummond.

I think I should compete for a playoff spot, but this belief gives me a tough decision. My backcourt cannot defend for ****, and Cousins doesn't have help in the front court. Scott started the year as my starting 4, but he refuses to rebound or defend. Green can rebound, but he disappears at times.

I really like how I drafted though. I only have 3 guys signed through next season (McGee, Cousins, Reddick). So next season I would have the cap space to go after a big name FA, like a Klay Thompson or Jimmy Butler. Both have already announced their decision to enter FA. Now if I make a trade I probably will lose that ability, but it would help my playoff chances and besides, since I tuned the non-financial factors to be more important those guys may not sign with me anyway. Do I stay the course and make a splash for next season, or push the issue now? This will be on my mind right up until the deadline.

Random notes:
I really thought I accidentally botched Seattle, but they are doing damn well. 15-8 sitting in 4th place in the West. They got a very good frontcourt. Along with the rookie Clark they have Plumlee and Monroe. SG is a weakness, so interesting to see if they make moves to improve there.

LAL may have won FA, but that is all they are winning lol. I **** you not they sit at 5-15 right now. What the hell?

OKC is best team in the league at 16-3. BUT they listed Adams and Roberson on the trade block. Hey guys, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Speaking of that, the Hornets are in rebuild mode and agreed to trade Dwight Howard for Steve Adams straight up. Uh why? I did not approve that trade.

Anyway, having a blast and it will be fun to see if I can climb out of this hole.

Does anyone know if there is a work around where if you choose start today literally every two-way player says they have 0 days left when in reality they all don't?
