There's one pretty huge difference this year in that MyGM has a story with cutscenes. Other than that, MyLeague gives you full control over everything, whereas MyGM is more about role playing a GM of one team and goes a little more in depth on that.

MyGM = GM
MyLeague = Commissioner, 1-30 Team Owner, Agent, Scout, Coach, Union President.

it effects how many times they shot and touch the ball in sim games …. so up those if you want your player to put up better stats its really key if your a few years into it.

Correct. Shots and touches are very important to get certain players to score more -- these are adjusted in the main roster updates for the game but because in MyLeague you're roster locked to whatever you loaded in there to begin with, you'll have to make the edits manually.

I like to bump up shots and touches for underperforming players looking to get a big contract -- rookies in the final year of their deal or veterans who have struggled recently -- just to sim the "contract year" mentality some players have.

Yep. You also have to watch for guys who get traded. I put Klay on the Bulls and his AVG dipped (like 17PPG) being the main star. Once I upped both his shot and touches and his numbers began to reflect an all NBA player (24PPG) with his own team. Every new season I edit those two tendencies.

I got Kristaps who (in MyLeague) is now 8 time All Star. Since Zion Williamson (90 overall) won’t be used in NY because of KP (93 overall), I traded for KP to Spurs (who already have Murray (SG, 93).

KP averages 24 ppg in NY. In SA, he’s down to 19 ppg and was snubbed in All- Stars vote.

I didn’t do any Shots and Touches edit - but question - do Shots and Touches change per season (or after trade)?

I believe -- and I haven't tested this rigorously -- that shot and touches change when a player starts to regress, IE after he reaches his "peak end" age. I've seen certain players take drops in that category as they get older, but it could be just because I wasn't paying attention.

Also, I've found certain players do better in certain Coach Systems than others, so for your example it might be that the SA is running a system that isn't the best fit for KP offensively. Switching the coach's preferred and active system to what it was in New York might improve those numbers.

Most of the social media is standard stuff. That specific account is weird in real life, so it's the same in the game. I don't mind it, I just want the actual NBA.com page back. The

What game had NBA.com? Asking because I only started playing back in NBA 2K16 and I don't remember it being on there. That would be pretty cool to have.
