Here's a thread about it, hopefully the more attention that's brought to it will help get some answers as to why the option was removed.

Really don't understand why a team can quit in pro-am and the winning team doesn't get any VC or points towards their badges. I feel like at least after the 1st half, the winning team should be eligible for something.

Two teams quit on us last night in the 3rd and 4th quarter and we were only awarded W's.

How is that slashing sharpshooter PF archetype? I've been thinking about making one because seems like every team wants a stretch 4... Any trouble when running into teams with 2 bigs? Any idea why he went 6'9 and not taller? Weight?

            Thanks in advance.

My team recently became elite in pro-am so i wanted to REDO the jerseys i made previously because you can make more changes .. but when i try to save them it just says "saving team assets " and will just stay on the page so i have to dashboard and reset . Does anyone know how to fix this ?? The arena will save and work but not the jerseys .

I'm gonna chime in if you don't mind. I have a 69, 6'10 about 235 I think, 3 point and slashing PF. Take this with a grain of salt because of my low level, but I wish I would have gone taller and heavier. Also I'm not sure if I would have gone slashing second. Probably post scoring or rebounding to be a better threat inside the perimeter since I can't seem to drive on anyone.

are you basing this off of pro am?

He does well for us at the 4 tbh. If a team with two bigs tries to iso him on the block we'll just go zone and not deal with it. On offense if the big tries to guard him on the outside it's pretty much lights out for him. Think his build is 6'9 195 he's got speed in the mid 70s since his primary is slashing secondary is shooting. He shoots around 47% from 3 currently, and it's trending upwards as he gets his badges upgraded. Rebounds very well too for his size. Solid build. I'm sure he is helped by us having so many deadly shooters around him, if anyone helps at all it's going to be a wide open 3 and we are making those at around a 75% clip.

These AFs were snagging over my head some how and dropping it on me instantly. I thought maybe I was losing my touch(entirely possible) but this makes a hell of a lot more sense.

Got any other information on it?
here's how it works this year. the bigs are over the top if they're 7 feet or taller. i made a thread about this earlier. they're too quick. and that goes for all bigs. which is why you see so many 7'3 guys. there is little lost in quickness(not speed but quickness which is what you need defensively and offensively in half court situations.)

Athletic bigs are supposed to be able to quick jump slower guys like rebounders/ defenders/shot creator bigs(so silly of an archetype for a big, there is no such thing in reality), shooter bigs.

but the truth is just like 2k17. Defender bigs and athletic bigs are the quickest off the ground for rebounds.

Now rebounding bigs are insane with the boards this year. yall talk about athletic guys stealing rebounds. I've seen numerous games where a rebounding big that isnt even rated an 80 and doesnt have any gold badges. JUST JUMPS from wherever they are standing and the board pops into their hand. even if i'm in perfect position between the rim and the rebounding opponent. the only way to stop that nonsense animation is to BOX OUT in hopes they get over the back calls OR BOX out and let another teammate get the rebound. I had to do this for entire games vs these dudes. I avg like 9 boards a game with my 7 foot athletic/defender big. but that 9 is inaccurate. thats because 1 game someone quit so there went my averages. I probably am at like 12 boards a game. But I personally understand positioning/boxing out, etc. how to wait for the shot to go up and angles where to go get the ball. i dont just randomly JUMP praying i get it like these rebounders do.

I was playing a rebounding big in the park the other day. I blocked his shot twice. The blocked shot was supposed make the ball go back over his head the other direction. so we would both have to go run and try to pick it up. but nope. since he's a rebounder. The animation looked so unrealistic, it made the ball come back down towards his hand while he was landing after being blocked. just imagine the ball going in one direction then changing directions just to stick to his hands for yet another rebound. his entire strategy was to just jump and do putbacks. I made him miss a ton, and made his teammate miss a lot. didnt matter. he was going to get ALL rebounds no matter what i did.

2k needs to tone that down. Rebounders should win more rebounding battles IF you're not in proper position. or if all things are equal and a rebounder vs anyone else is standing side by side. if the rebounder jumps first. he should snag that board 80% of the time. i have no problems with that. but to never need position and just jump over people from miles away to snag boards just looks unrealistic. and its going to make everyone choose a really tall rebounder big. so we will all be twins. lol.

so basically 4 guys doing the side to side cheese to get that 3 off. lol. and you the big just jumping all out of position grabbing boards thanks to the funny animations given to rebounding bigs no matter if they're in position or not. excellent choices to win on 2k at least until they patch some of the silly stuff out.

haa ha at him making brandon ingram with a money 3 ball. as much as i love my lakers. Let me matchup with you guys one time. I promise you I will have him fouling out or 2 of you fouling out trying to double team my big when i take him to the paint. that zone doesnt bother me at all. i know exactly where to post up or cut to destroy that zone and a zone is susceptible to offensive rebounds, which is my specialty. luckily for you most people have no idea how to defeat a zone defense. they just hope the defense doesnt know how to rotate properly so they can keep shooting 3's.
