Have you ever lost a game in Nba 2K with a full court heave ? I just did ... Yesterday. Kyrie sank a full-court shot with 1 sec. left on the clock to end my 10 game winning streak :/

I haven't seen a full court shot go in yet, however I don't think I have seen a heave miss the rim entirely either

I was 99 % sure that I won the game with Tobias Harris' jumpshot with 1.5 secs to go. They had no timeout, the victory was in my pocket... Until Kyrie showed up and scored his 40th point in the game.

I don't think it's cheese, i'm glad to be part of an unique experience like this.

This game breaks my heart in so many different ways but I've never experienced this. If I did, I would both love it and hate it. I'm guessing it's an extremely rare thing since I've never made a long shot nor has the computer ever made one on me but sooner or later one of them has to go in. Can't wait to see it and experience the pain you likely felt

But, 10 games was a great win streak and 2K said "enough is enough". Lol

I'm starting to be convinced that bump steals were put in to stop zig zag cheese. I'm racking up steals trying to contain it without reaching.

that bump is cheese also. and should be a foul every time.
Im sure that zig zag is annoying, but this isnt the way to combat it.

the way that 2k could combat this, is to have left and right hand dribble attributes.
Id make an ambidextrous ball handler a hard achievement to reach.
in addition with ball handling set up this way 2k could have the call of "carrying" implemented into the game.
most weak ball handlers carry the ball when over using their weak hand, especially when going at full speed.

that is how you combat the zig zag cheese and make ball handling more challenging in the game.

Played a game on pro and it's amazing how different the game is. Things happen as they should but the cpu just doesn't make enough shots in the games I played. You would think All-Pro would be the perfect balance......

If pro feels good to you maybe you could use sliders to give the cpu a little bit of "help" making shots by boosting their shooting sliders up a few notches. It may even be a base set for pro difficulty already posted on OS.

I am playing 2K since 2006 and maybe, maybe 1 time I saw this happen. And it was probably my team who sank the shot. It's kind of weird but at the same time your are like " i can't do anything about this".

The funny thing is i was up 6 with 1 min. to go so i got complacent and i was fooling around considering i won the game already lol. Anyway it was a weird experience but i hope i don't experience it again. Otherwise i'll seriously consider some cheese

Playing HOF and I bumped CPU's offensive and defensive awareness +15 and still cant lose a game with the Cavs. 17-2 on 15 game win streak without IT.

Just want to be challenged...

Okay first let me say.. this is not about race and before anyone tries to say I am being racist i'd check yourself first. That's just our society today so I had to state this...

So first Ill get this out of the way. I traded in my Xbox one S for an Xbox One X the other day. Playing on the same tv (Samsung KU6300 4k 65") but is it just me or does it not look that much better than the One S version??

How can you make your player more muscular?! They are either fat no definition or just lanky skinny weirdos. Theres no way to have actual ripped muscles?

Now onto an opinion of mine that I know a lot of you share with me.... Why does NBA2K developers think that the only people who play basketball and get to the league are inner city trash who have to speak like they are ghetto? Every year your player is just a piece of garbage person. Sounds uneducated and is overall one of the most annoying humans ever. The nicknames are comical.. they couldnt come up with anything better? Your twin sister last year who was a different race, Freq, DJ this year, that annoying B-Fresh.
Again B-Fresh is some Asian lady who looks like just some fat average Jane Doe Asian but of course 2K makes her speak in slang and like she is from the streets... why?? Why does she have to be from the streets and into beats and rap? (jesus god what 11 year old wrote this stuff). It is awful and tacky and I find it hard to believe that couldnt think of a real story...

But back to the voice.. I am a white guy. Some scenes the player talks like a nasally dweeb. Others he tries to act tough, then hell throw in street slang and looks like a wigger. It really kills the mood towards myplayer because every year this is an issue and every year NBA2K doesnt even attempt to fix it/give multiple options and we have to watch every cringe worthy cutscne.
There should be no reason why they cant have 3 or 4 voices to choose from. Oh and why the hell does he have to walk around the locker room with the most over exaggerated limpy gimpy pimp walk? Wtf is this trash. 2K and their offensive stereotyping.... apparently they think zero white people who speak properly play their games.....

FIX IT CLOWNS!!!!!!!!!!!!

you could have made your point without being equally as offensive though.
I do get what your saying though.
Im Black and grew up in the inner city and Ill just say most of us arent walking stereotypes in our everyday lives.
yes we use slang, and have nick names, but so doesnt every other race.

2k does need to have different back stories for various types of people.
the back stories can all be different but all of it can still lead to a central point at the end.

they can have players come from the country, the suburbs, prep school All Americans, even over seas. they could flesh out 4-5 different narratives that satisfy everybody.

I rarely play the my career modes. it could be because of this, but im not sure.

Yes that's my point... listen to black NBA players. How many of them sound like how 2K makes the voiceovers sound? Less than 10%?? So why does 2K think its necessary to make EVERY SINGLE RACE speak like this? It makes no sense and it makes it hard to play that mode. I like the myplayer mode but I have to mute the TV because I just cant handle it after a while lol.

Just options for the player makes sense and the fact that they havent done it yet is mind boggling... to busy trying to rip off the consumer like EA does with Fifa now. $60 game then they probably get $100s on average more from us.... but they cant fix the things people complain about most. Ill end my rant.

Played my first post-patch game on default Superstar. Atlanta didn't commit a turnover the entire game, that's fun.

My biggest frustration remains the CPU's defensive rotations and strategy. They stay glued to shooters on penetration far too often. I get so many open layups in the halfcourt set because of this. I can't take a realistic number of threes because you can't get open looks if the CPU doesn't rotate to free up various players.

This is doubly annoying since I play Porzingis at the 5 so he's typically matched up against slower 5s. I run high post stuff for him or he has the ball beyond the arc, the defender gets right up in my grill and I easily drive past him for a dunk 9 times out of 10 because the CPU never rotates.

My PnRs/2-man game feel like I'm actually playing 2v2. If it's a solid screen and my PG turns the corner it's a dunk. On rare occasion when the opposing big helps on the ballhandler, Porzingis gets a wide open three. There is never help from a tertiary defender. Drives me crazy.

Man after playing madden for a week. NBA2k movement is slow and sluggish.

Guess RB and WR are faster than the average NBA player

Is there any news on us being able to edit players hairstyles? Kevin Love, LeBron, Rose and Shumpert all have incorrect hairstyles/facial hair..

Also the Cavs arean is soooo off. why is there two dark tunnels leading to the locker room? The cavs have NEVER had this...Its bright in the tunnels and there is seating all around and above the tunnel.

I have a season going and so far have played against Philly twice. So weird though that first game Philly was up going into the 4th and Simmons was having an amazing game but played the entire 3rd quarter and didnt return in the 4th. Close game too...Philly held the lead most of the game but couldnt fight off my comeback and Simmons their best player for the game didnt play at all. Not hurt or anything.

Just played them again and same thing....Simmons dominated, played all of the 3rd quarter and 1 minute to open the fourth and then to the bench. I finally caved and switched to CPU to sub him in and then switched back. Any advice on how to fix this?

I made checked his stamina its 90....I checked their advance rotation and nothing there either. I just dont get it. Ruins the enjoyment of winning that game.
