Yah but the game never will feel like real basketball, i feel like if they still tried to make in fun and realistic, maybe still even more on the fun side, it would be better off, cause these games will never play like real basketball, its impossible, to many little things that cant be simulated or programed properly.

Re: NBA 2k18 Impressions Thread
The variety of games is hugely improved. Just held Utah to 84 points on 72 shots. The previous game GS put up 122 (including 88 shots and 40 3s) on me.
Im seeing swings in game aswell. In that GS game I held them to 52 in the 1st half, and they came out and scored 43 in the 3rd quarter.Comment

Re: NBA 2k18 Impressions Thread
They can actually update the sets the teams are using and make them more realistic. Teams have similar sets in the game, too similar actually.
I'd be happy if they can , one point, release a core game, then just release a roster update every year for offline play and tweak the gameplay from time to time and make it better. I only play NBA 2K offline and the reason is I love MY LEAGUE modes and to compete for championship with an NBA team and when the game is closer to simulation, more i like it.
Having said that, if the gameplay is at a very good level, there's not much to improve in offline game modes. I'm quite happy that the game was great from the build this year, i'm playing a NBA 2K game without having slider adjustment for the first time - i play 2K since 2K6.Comment

Re: NBA 2k18 Impressions Thread
I really like where the gameplay is right now as far as pace & balance. Just had two life-like games, felt good.
Also, while playing against the Pacers I noticed the CPU subbed out Turner when he got in foul trouble. Not sure if this was included in the patch or just a one time thing but it was nice not seeing the CPU keep a player in all game with foul trouble.Comment

NBA 2k18 Impressions Thread
Has anyone else noticed the atrocious audio on Xbox One X? I just got this game last week but can’t even play more than a couple minutes because it’s ear-peircing.
I guess I’ll spend some time later to read some of the recent impressions, but I really hope it’s something that they’re looking into.
The commentary audio is fine but the stadium sounds, music, and pa guy sound awful. I’ve played the game on PS4 and this issue did not exist before

Re: NBA 2k18 Impressions Thread
There is greater seperation between great/good/average/bad player than there ever has been. And for the first time in 2K, I can really feel great passers standing out. Ive been seeing stuff like this all year.

Re: NBA 2k18 Impressions Thread
I have my issues with the game particularly the rebounding and the on-ball defense(mainly thr hip riding animation) but 3 months in and I can say this is the best 2K since the switch to next-gen.
I will say that the learning curve to be great in this is pretty steep as an online player. . I'm a 2K vet and I'm still in practice mode labbing trying to figure out the best plays and freelances, experimenting with the defensive settings and trying tl master on-balld defense. Last few years I got away with pick and roll spam and that's not as efficient this year, so I've been going back to the post to and trying to master that and I'm still tryimg to search for the perfect playbook and freelance offense.
It's a grind and the game makes me rage a ton but I enjoy it.Comment

This is by no means a special play. But every year, I see more moments per game that fee like basketball.
