Why tweak the lay-ups??? Why? The game feels more challenging now and this creates for more realistic percentage.

This game is about to get really ruined guys. Its already messed up as it is. Once the patch gets here, bye bye gameplay

because Kobe bryant shouldnt be missing wide open layups, and shabazz muhammad shouldn't completely overshoot the rim on a putback with no contest.

It's already been addressed, if you are still missing layout its user error.

C'mon man..really.. blaming something as simple as many missed dunks on the user..? Just because it's working for you doesn't mean it works for them.

The only saving grace is well.. regardless this can EASILY be fixed..so not a huge problem right now.

There's people who cannot even play online due to lag..or frame rate..(and I don't even play online but I care about everyone who plays 2k)

Offline many issues..also...

I stopped playing this until next Thursday Friday..while I love the game..the insane amount of hotfixes and patches without notes... literally feels like a different game after each patch.

Not starting a mycareer until they are somewhat stable with Patches..right now we have no idea what they're addressing.

I agree, I've missed some WIDE OPEN layups numerous times. Also I think there needs to be more court spacing. It's really easy to fall into double coverage, opposed to real life basketball where you could easily punish players in an ISO.

For spacing..what camera angle do you use??? Even though I've stopped playing. till Next week all 2k games never had amazing spacing.. in the which one it is maybe beluba? Made it SEEMS like there was much h more spacing or you can SEE the gapes/lanes better.

Shouldn't have to change angles to get space..but when was spacing ever good in 2k using the popular camera angles?

There is a thread were someone is claming layup are too easy because of clipping, it cant be too hard and too easy, if you release early you will miss, the reverse layup are unstoppable.

They need to bring back or have the option of seeing the meter when you do a layup.

I know it's there too because it pops up sometimes when you go for a layup. I need to see what I'm doing wrong with the timing because I'm missing the most wide open layups.

I alter between broadcast zoom & 2k (regular). I'm aware you see more of the floor in 2k cam, but it's still not enough spacing. I feel like once you pass one defender, you fall right into another just immediately. But I totally agree with you, I can't recall when spacing was ever great. This also effects the shooting in the game as well, I feel like I miss the shots I SHOULD be making.

Layups missed while wide open..not even someone near you?last time I played was Thursday P.C..didnt seem that bad but..if I was in shock how many 3pters the CPU would drain over and over..never seen this in my life.

Many said learn how to play defense??I've been playing since the original 2k..this was out of the box.. default mode..not even Superstar/HOF.

I may not be the best but I know how to play basic defense..when the 3pters going in at crazy rate,you cannot keep blaming the player.

Definitely in the camp of not changing layups....I'm really not having much trouble converting at all...and some of the guys I've run into online are much better than me converting in traffic......its just a matter of getting the timing down...

I don't play online and I haven't played in a few days..but I think many are thinking why should a layup have a shot meter..maybe for aguy who is horrible at layups..but even the most routine layups shouldn't require a meter..we know when we blow it..you can feel it. It's why we. We blow a dunk or a layup we get pissed and that's the beauty of it.

Now if you're doing a fancy layup..reverse or in traffic meter makes sense but an uncontested layup..is basic as it comes.

I'm talking for offline MODE I think online the have to do that to differenate a guy who is say a 60..or 90..but a pro is a pro offline..simple layups..in a simulation should almost automatic.

I wasn't missing a lot of uncontested layups offline even before I learned the timing, so I cant really relate....more so the semi contested to contested layups...guess we can agree to disagree....and the easier layups group will likely win out...but I personally liked how they were designed this year..

The thing is, that I don't have that problem. This game will always have different experience for everyone because of their type of internet connection....If you play online then anything go's...

Its dangerous for 2k to change or tweak software. Its to risky. If you change something, another area will glitch or mess up somehow. I dealing with this BS since 2008
