Lost MyCareer save + all VC spent on it (over 200k). This happened when I tried to enter the team training facility in the neighbourhood. It caused my game to crash and upon rebooting it my save was gone and only left the prelude save I abandoned.

Same issue, ticket submitted (#2518097)

Crashed to the Xbox dashboard. Spent money on 200,000+ VC to upgrade my player. Save file gone.

This thread isn't to report a bug, but instead is an attempt to increase visibility of a very serious situation. Many people have lost hours of their time and a lot of real money in VC from this issue.

It should be an absolute top priority to resolve this problem.

Did you play the Prelude more than once?

This happened to me and I think it is related to playing the Prelude more than once. When you do that you create a local save. When the game crashes, you lose access to the save online, but it sees the one local. If you do something to save later when the connection is back it looks like it is overwriting the online save.

I could be wrong, but this is my guess as to what is happening.

Nah man, I didn't even play the prelude at all. Didn't start my career until the game dropped at midnight. Played a few hours and it crashed and I lost everything

Saves are automatically backed up to the cloud on XB1. It always uses the most recent available save. Prevents people from hacking saves like they used to do on the 360.

I'm on Xbox One, I tried to play the next game in MyCareer, it dashboarded, but everything seemed fine until just now, I got a text from Bryan about my shoe deal, it changed from my pick of Nike to Adidas. This isn't a serious issue like others are posting like losing VC or whole characters, but thought I would throw it out there as an occurrence.

I seen this on twitter and pretty much all of them say they have the digital version. Just curious do you guys have the digital or disc version?

I have the digital version and only played the prelude once.

It happened while walking down the street towards the practice building, after buying a shirt and shorts in the NBA store.

yyy2k on Reddit suggested all users avoid MyCareer, based on what he said was dev feedback, which seems like a pretty extreme suggestion.

It doesn't change your deal... he just wanted to know what you preferred. I also chose nike and this adidas thing is part of the story.

I tried to leave the game, and pop into a practice and my system just froze. I dashboarded.. Now when I try to load up my career it starts then just freezes.
