Playmaking Slasher here, Dunk all day. You guys either aren't having enough space, or taking off at the wrong spots. You don't dunk every time this year, and you don't get crazy in traffic, but it's there.

My driving dunk and contact stop at 88/85 for reference. My layups are low 90s.

Have a friend with this problem who is very skilled player and if he says he cant dunk that means that he can't dunk.

I saw a couple of threads like this in reddit so its definitely some kind of bug/glitch.

I think every player can dunk, you just have to equip dunk packages; I made a minimum height, weight, wingspan, shoulder length PG (slasher) and he can dunk with no upgrades.

It seems to be a glitch with the 'slasher' archetype, I have a similar problem, I have mad dunks equipped on my shotcreator/slasher, even contact dunks. My dude just lays it up on the break in game. In practice I'm just killing it so it isn't me. Seems to be a problem with a lot of ppl.

I have a playmaking shot creator and have problem. Gets frustrating after awhile.

Exactly. This is being talked about in many places, and to come in and say that I don't know how to dunk is just utterly silly. And to clarify here, I don't expect to be dunking all over people, but on a fast break with no one around or a badly out of position defender then yes, as a slasher I expect to at least attempt a dunk.

Haven't seen them address it yet but I assume it would be a fairly quick fix.

Yo we really need a fix for this. I have a 6'7 playmaker shot creator and I can't dunk. Even on fast breaks I lay the ball up when I'm all by myself

Have you guys tried using the right stick ? Just had a game where I was dunking like crazy with my shot creator . My dunking isn't maxed yet.

Tried this out but it is indeed a bug, also tried a PG Shot Creatoe / 3 point shooter. Now he can dunk like crazy in the park etc. But in regular NBA games he cant dunk at all only do layups. Got dunk packages assigned and all even upgraded the dunk rating but no luck

i dunk only once per game and only on fast breaks and i have a playmaking shot creator PG dunk packages filled up and at the moment it seems to activates when it wants to.

I don't believe it's a glitch, I believe they tone down the dunking for smaller players. I believe it now requires much more momentum and an empty Lane. I think it was done in an effort to give pure Slash's more of an impact. Last yr. Not only could everyone dunk, everyone could do standing dunks.

I don't believe it's a glitch, I believe they tone down the dunking for smaller players. I believe it now requires much more momentum and an empty Lane. I think it was done in an effort to give pure Slash's more of an impact. Last yr. Not only could everyone dunk, everyone could do standing dunks.

This is exactly what I believe has happened. But not only that, the defender sticking like glue is back!. My career now feels like previous years now with defenders bumping and warping to cut you off. The game feels totally different today than yesterday. This is friggin' maddening. Every single year the same thing. SMDH.

the defender does stick like glue. I've broke many plays and beaten them off the dribble many a times just to have them warp to me once i reach the basket. You have to get a stepback/bump move that creates a lot of space because the ai warps sometimes after bumps and stepbacks.

But it wasn't like that on Saturday. So they're messing a lot with the game backatage like previous years. I think I'll just play my league now. I was really enjoying my career until now. Thank god that I don't buy VC

Thats not true because I saw a video where the guy build a 5ft7 slasher he was the smallest guy u could build and he was able to dunk!


But my PG 6ft2 shotcreator/playmaker cant dunk! And other people talk also about shotcreator.
I tried everythink bought some tomahwaks some easy standard dunks, Jordan, Lavine, Windmills, equipped them to myplayer....and still nothing, with stick or button makes no difference.
BUT HE S ABLE TO DUNK IN SHOOTAROUND AT MYCOURT AND PREGAME IN NBA....why?!?!?!?
