my 6`8 SF shot creater/defender cant dunk to save his life unless its on a fast break with nobody around but then again he has like a 60 dunk rating since im investing in other areas first.

Im assuming you have dunk animations equipped? My dunk rating is 60 as well.

would not have wasted 6 5 height and 10k+ in VC on dunk skills and i cant dunk. very frustrating

got no issues on fast breaks or clear lanes.

traffic however im not ready to posterize yet lol

I dont mind PGs not being able to dunk this actually makes me happy (sorry) Last year at the park sharp shooter PGs were draining 3s from half court and dunking as if it was a dunk contest in the park so maybe they lowered it on PGs to balance the game?

I have a slasher/shot creator SF 6'9 no issues dunking. He wont dunk a lot and more layups then dunks unfortuintely but dunks are also lowered for more sim action like game (not a fan of this whole sim this sim that action if I want to dunk more then lay it in then I should have a choice on MY created player not let 2k game design choose for me)

I saw someone say they toned the dunks down this year and hey's 100%. Also correct about defenders starting to stick like glue. 2K did get rid of that stupid brick wall defense and allows us to dribble past defender without bump but now they glue on to your side and follow you lol

So the low dunking and PG's not dunking is not a glitch.

I got a 6'5 205 lbs SC / PM point guard with 74 driving and 72 contact dunk. Vertical is 73 too. And all I got so far was one single dunk at Park. A standing dunk lol

I made sure several times to have turbo left. Nothing. Even at practice he won't dunk.

Just to make sure I bought 4 different dunk packages and also tried all the free ones. Different combinations too.

It's definitely glitched.

See the thing is I'm pretty sure it's only Point Guards that are having this problem. I have friends that play SG & SF and they dunk just fine. but my guy just wont dunk as a PG. Its pretty annoying.

Is not only PG that have problems.

6'4 Slasher/playmaker with the same issue. Also lost 210k VC and can't equip layup packages. As you know, my player can dunk perfectly in his house court. Anyone got a solution? I can't afford to start over with my player (88, about 12 badges and great park record).

Seriously the condescension, I know for a fact a 6'4" pg with 82 dunk is gonna at least attempt a dunk from 3 feet near the rim with the closest defender trailing a FOOT BEHIND me. I won't even attempt it, but I can call lobs or even SELF LOB and dunk from twice as far out as that (alley oop dunks not glitched). So many ppl who aren't having the glitch are responding with 'I don't have it so it isn't there'. Guys it is a real glitch it's happening to a NUMBER of people, toned down dunks or not. I am truly happy to hear of it not happening to certain builds/your MyPlayer but don't discount it. Slashers should be able to ATTEMPT dunks.

so today i get the answer for my ticket #2544355 that my PG cant dunk even with all the dunk packages equipped.(speed 90, vertical 77, dunk 77)
Answer of 2 k: delete your cache and re-install your game!
I hope the new patch 1.02 will fix it.
Thats defintitly a glitch.
Because everybody is able to dunk on his MyCourt and Shootaround pregame but not in the practise, park or nba games.

Have not dunked a single time in park, pro-am or NBA game. 74 Driving Dunk, 77 Vertical, Dunk packages equipped.

It's really a problem when you miss layups every time you're breathed on from behind. There's no point of me even taking a shot on a fast break that I'm leading.

The patch fixed it. Couldn't dunk for the past few days in ANY mode. Just got out of 2 pro am games and was getting dunk animations.
