The patche fixed it. Couldn't dunk for the past few days in any mode. Just got out of 2 pro am games and was getting dunk animations.

Bullet did it fix for you, because MY PG still can't dunk. I think this other guy doesn't have a PG build

and the patch didn't fix this issue, it was about files being deleted randomly for many players, this issue was no way addressed in this patch released a few days after the release of the game.

I Have a 6'10 sf slasher who can't dunk. I have posterizer simply from practice. He refuses to dunk in career games or pro am . I. A 86 over with dunking & everything else maxed !!!!! I've tried it all I've bought Gatorade ,bought dunks,etc...the **** is rigged

and the patch didn't fix this issue, it was about files being deleted randomly for many players, this issue was no way addressed in this patch released a few days after the release of the game.

We're looking into this, guys. Dunking was dialed back on purpose this year for all non slashing builds to balance out the archetypes but some builds (especially PGs) were hit too hard. It should be fixed soon.

I appreciate that Mike, thanks for being the only person from 2k to respond to us personally. But, most of us are slashing shot creators, i'm and 83 driving dunk ovr with lavine package and can't dunk in any career games or pro am. I can't do anything with this guy now so i have to wast time and grind with a SG for how long? We are frustrated, major time on our end has been wasted. We really want a fix, but we need some compensation also. The road to 99 is at an impasse for 3 days now for me.

People with slasher anywhere in their build should be able to dunk. I understand if you're a sharp/slasher you won't catch bodies all day, but dunking should be a reliable option. I don't understand the thought process behind nerfing everything.

This was a fantastic decision, I love seeing non-dunk builds not being able to slam it. Just let us PG slashers go up every now and again.

The thing is ppl saying only slashers should dunk is crazy to me. Dunk success and attempts should be different. Not 'oh he's not a slasher he shouldn't dunk at all'

Like my guy gets a 75 dunk rating and equip most dunk packages but since I'm not a slasher build I don't get to see them? That's pretty silly.

That's like saying if you don't have a shooter build your player shouldn't be able to attempt a 3 point shot. As in when you try to shoot nothing happens. It's a good choice to tone down the dunking for smaller builds with no slashing but if I have a 6'7 shot creating playmaker I should at least be doing dunks when I'm wide open.

I could tell this was bugged from the start. Hopefully they fix it and make the success rate like that of a player who doesn't have a good jumper rating that attempts jumpers. Easy fix

I love this and hope it's not adjusted !!! If anything give slashers a slight higher bump in dunking. To many layups vs dunks. There is a reason why people choose slasher as a build and that is to dunk not to lay it in. Open lane or 1 step front of defender should be automatic dunk for a slasher.

Aside from that love this game Mike been buying since 2k10 thanks to you and your team's hard work.

To go along with your 3 point shooting example, I'm a slashing Playmaker, if I get a wide open 3, I take it. If someone is even remotely near me, not a chance. This should be the same for non-finishers when they enter the paint, IMO.

While i agree with the idea behind this 100%, there is something wrong right now.

If I can dunk in shoot around and equip dunk animations (from world class dunkers) but not in an actual game or practice with maxed out dunking, there is something wrong with the mechanics. How come there are other factors beside dunk rating that matter? We bought the VC without that information.

I'm sorry to say, but the transparency in this game is a joke.

That's weird. I have a 6'3" 198lb PG. I couldn't dunk at all before the patch but now he's dunking more often.
