An update went live this morning that should make dunking noticeably easier.

Could you clarify whether PG's are still at more of a disadvantage than other builds, as you said they received more of a nerf than others?

Yeah, I would like to know as well. I didn't create a slashing PG to be at a disadvantage against other similar sized & skilled players at other positions. Attributes are supposed to matter right? There is no reason a PG with the same size, attributes as another position should be able to dunk less often. Brad

I just played a game vs the cpu and was able to dunk, more often. However, with a wide open lane using square or rstick, holding turbo (with plenty left) I still laid it up too often. After I tried practice and got a couple dunks in the 3 drills but on several wide open lanes to the basket. Still way too many layups, especially for a slasher. My playmaker last year was a better finisher than my slashing pm this year. If a slasher has an open lane and turbo they need to be able to finish with a dunk. Brad

Still not dunking in career games. Fast break, wide open, closest person to me was at the 3 point line, my player does a layup lol.. 74 driving dunk

Damn man that is very disappointing to hear. Just don't see 2k's constant need to nerf everything instead of just rewarding good defense. Same thing last year with shooting, everyone was complaining about it needing a nerf but if you played good d shots rarely went in

All the other archetypes can do what they do - Rebounders can rebound, defenders can defend, shooters can shoot, shot creators can create, yet good dunkers can't even attempt dunks when they should. It makes me not want to even play the game at this point.

It is very annoying to do everything right, be selective in your shots, then get stuck with some turd layup animation. You already sacrifice so much else to actually be good at dunking. Slasher types should be dunking when they have an open lane and turbo.

I just wanna be able to dunk in practices. I'm a 6'3 shot creator/ slasher with an 83 driving and contact dunk and still can't dunk in the training facility.
